Hi popsy,

My RD is the same as yours and mine is EB2 as well. I just checked my status on line and it's still in received status. Would you please tell me your first 2 digital of your receipt number? Mine is 54XXX. Thanks.

Hi Candie,

I remember your RD is on Aug 19 too. Did you hear anything new about your I-140?

To popsy & candie & Immportuser

Hi Popsy&Candie,

Thanks for your reply. Hope we all can hear good news soon.

Hi Immportuser,

I remember I read somewhere in the forum that YYZZZ is your actual case number and it starts from 50000 to 59999 normally. If CSC receives more than 10000 cases on that day, the number may exceed 59999. Folks, correct me if I'm wrong.

New JIT May 2003???

The New JIT for EB2 shows May 2003. Then how are they processsing some cases of Aug 2003 RD/ND.

Any thoughts

Maybe they are doing a preliminary review of the I-140 petitions for aug/sep 2003. This is mandatory in CSC before issuing the EAD

dates regressed again?????

what is going on with these people?

to lcauser:

congrats on your I140..

how many times do they do case review? whats that prima facie review for?

is it a guess that they do this review in CSC before processing EAD? why do you think they are reviewing **sep** cases?

so far we only saw rk4gc and popsy's cases being touched (atleast in this group) ...both in aug. any EB2 case after Aug 19th or in sep '03??

thanks

In my case, the RD is 4/21/03 EB3 and during that time they were processing Dec02 or jan 03 cased for EB3. Just before 3 days of my 90 days completion, CSC issued an RFE on my case. Hence, I strongly feel that they will do a prima facie review of all I-140 cases before 90 days (my guess).

It's really frustrating to see the date regressed AND cases NOT being processed within those back dates.

For last two JIT reports, even though the processing dates were showing other wise, there were cases in May were not processed. This is the 3rd time BCIS is regressing back to May.

I hope at least this time BCIS will process the cases in MAY. And in future, there will be no discreapancies between the JIT report and the cases processed.

I-140 prima facie review

In my case, I'm not sure if the RFE that has just been sent out is based on 'prima facie' review or actual processing.. because, the RFE is after 90 days - my RD is 8/19 and as per rules (if there is such a thing as a rule!), the prima facie review should have been conducted and RFE issued within90 days - that would have been 11/20/03 -whereas my RFE was sent out only on 12/17..I think we are all trying to read patterns where there may be none!!

BTW, though no RFE was issued at the time I went for my interim EAD (shortly after 90 days), they declined it - I don't think that is right either...

status changed from 270 to 360

This is what my online status says --->

We mailed you a receipt with information about processing. It is taking between 360 and 360 days for us to process this kind of case. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete

It got changed from 270 to 300 days .

Any idea?

It's really frustrating to see the continuous delays and keep extending the processing time.

All this because of not spending the allocated fund, mismanagement and not realizing the value of the immigrants by USCIS.

Until unless USCIS realizes the above some body makes USCIS realizes, this processing delays will continue.

Rajiv, Thanks for the lawsuit. Thanks to Kashmir and all those folks who are trying their best to make USCIS realizes what it needs to do.

One perfect example of USCIS's inability is regressing the JIT report back and forth for at least 3 times.
