I-140/485 Applied In December 2004

Hi josamdee,
I received my 140 approval notice copy.
The PD on it is same as the original labor date which is Jan 02.
I believe your must be just an error. You may want to verify this with USCIS.
My 485 is still pending.

Long time reader, first time posting.
Got an email from my lawyer, saying my I140 was approved. He did not mention the exact date, but I had LUD on I140 05/17/05. Now, since it is a concurrent filing, was wondering what is happening with our 485. I had LUD on 485 on 04/14/05 along with so many people on this forum, but nothing else. Any ideas? Is there any way to know what is happening? Any experience? Forgot to mention, my ND 12/20/04.
 
LUD on 140

LUD changed for 140 on 05/27 and again on 05/30 without any message change. Hopefully its for approval !

I do not know since my company HR never told me anything regarding this.

(b) What's PD of I-140 approval?
I will let you know once I get the approval letter.

Good News!

Finally, I received the magic emails. Both 140 and 485 approved !
My case was EB3 sub with "copy of labor" since the original labor was used by someone earlier in the company (who then left before 140 was approved).
Such cases normally take a really long time, and I had a long discussion with the lawyer about it. ( He was predicting anywhere from 1-2 years ).

Anyways, the emails are here and that is all that matters.

Hi all, got some strange (scarry?) email from USCIS a few minuts back:

On May 31, 2005, we transferred your I485 Application to Register
Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in SAN JOSE, CA for
processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you
a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should
receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local
office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800)
375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times.

Any ideas?

Bio-Metric FP

I approached the ASC ( Application Support Centre) and completed my Bio-Metric ( code 2: Picture, Index FP, Electronic signature) yesterday without any notice from USCIS. This will speed up your Plastic card (Greencard) and you don't need to go for passport stamping, but this will not speedup your I-485 approval. See my signature, still I am waiting for my I-140 approval. Itiger, just go and do it. Thanks
