I-140/485 Applied In December 2004

Hi,

Here are our case details:

I-140/I-485 applied on Dec-29-04. Sustitution labor of Jul-2001 EB3
Receipts received
FP done on Feb-18-05
Parole Docs approved on Feb-28-05
FP results received against I-485 on Mar-1-05

Husband's H-1 is expiring in May-05. Company is not ready to H-1 extension if EAD received. Will there be a problem.

Planning to go to India in Jun/Jul. Heard rumours that it is not safe to travel on Parole docs if H-1 is expired. Is it true?
 
then that defeats the purpose of Advance Parole.

Those rumours are not true.

Advance Parole is used to get back to this country if you don't have a valid visa. Just don't forget to take your AP documents and also take photocopies of that.

Was there an LUD on your EAD application before it got approved.
I had an LUD on I-765 but nothing happened.

Just got an email that my EAD and my husband's have been approved. AP was approved earlier this week.

Just checked online status for me and my wife. Both our EADs have been approved and a new card will be mailed to us shortly.

FP February 15, 2005
Biometrics for wife February 5, 2005 (scheduled)
EAD Approval March 3, 2005

I have posted my dates under Dec'2004 applications.
BTW, my AP is also approved and is on usps mail.

Not neccessarily.LUD on I-765 changed to 3/2/2005 but status has'nt changed at all.That is why I kept such a username of mine in this forum.

LUD: ?

I don't understand lot of 2 letter and 3 letter acronyms you guys use. What is PD ? What is sub labor case ? How do I know if mine is EB3 or EB2.

I checked my lawer and he said that the I140 cases take about a year for approval.
 
Hi All,
Today I see new Dates for UCSIS posting, in Which they say they are doing processing forAP and EAD Jan 24 2005.

My EAD got approved this week but i dont why my AP did not get approved .

Does anyboy else have the same problem ?

LUD for EAD Approval

Hi,

I got my EAD without LUD but some of them here ( pachanga , ram_gc) got LUD before thier approval.So it is YES and NO.

My guess would be,
You will get the approval in 1 or 2 days!!

Same with me. My EAD got approved last week itself but no news on AP.

I went to FP in advance today..they didnt allow me and asked me to come on the day of my appnt.

However The change in Processing dates is a concern as I have no news on our EADs/AP?...any comments...

I am not done with my FP, is this the reason for our EAD NOT to be approved.
Infact no LUDs on any of our petitions.

Primary Applicant: Spouse
Category: As a Physical Therapist (so probably EB3)
140/485/EAD/AP: RD Dec 30 2004
ND Jan 11 2005
FP ND Feb 17th (Schedule for Mar 15 2005)
 
The processing dates were surprising for us as well.
Our RD is 1/3, FP is cleared and still waiting for EAD and AP.
