I-140/485 Applied In December 2004

EAD Approved

EAD was approved for my wife(Primary Applicant) on 03/02/2005. I'm not sure whats happening to my EAD? But, i got my iEAD. Not sure whether the iEAD is causing the delay for my EAD.
 
Good news,
My wife's EAD got approved, got e-mail today evening but mine is pending might be my I-140 is in progress/pending/additional system checks.

Hello All,
I have a question regarding FP. I have done my FP on Feb 18 2005. But Still on my 485 LUD did not get changed. It still say " FP Notices mailed" and did not get changed saying FP recieved. Is that normal, or there is some problem.
Even i got the second FP notice also on 02/24/05. I have not done the second FP yet.

I called one day FBI and asked about my FP? They said your FP cleare d and result send to INS. I dont know why INS did not recvd the result yet.

Does anybody have the same issue.
I got my EAD approved on 02/27/2005 and got my card also.

I was with company A and got my LCA/I140 approved in July 2001. waited for 2 years to file for 485 and I was laid off before filing 485, found job with company B and they filed LC again and got my H1 extended beyond 6th year. Company A got acquired by company C and Company C hired me back and filed my I140 amendment(for change in tax id, I guess) and I485.

My question is, is processing I-140 amendment any faster than I-140 itself?

Even my I-485 status did'nt update after I got my FP done on 02/02/2005.It still shows "FP sent ...".
FBI said they have sent the FP to INS and INS officials also just look at website and tell you the status which is old one.
 
AP Approved

My AP was approved on 03/03/2005. No update on my EAD.
My wife's (Primary Applicant) EAD was approved on 03/02/2005. No update on my wife's AP.

Now the long wait for 140 /485 begins :confused:
hope CSC keeps up the speed they have picked up since last month for 140 processing :cool:

I see that you got your interim EAD even before 90 days have passed since you filed your I-765 application.Do they issue iEAD before 90 days.pls let me know.

I got AP and EAD approved. I got the email form USCIS and got my EAD plastic cards also. :) :) :)
Now Waiting for I-140 and 485 Approval. I know it will be a long wait.

Do u have LUD update on 485 reagrding your FP ?
Bcoz i have done mu FP on Feb 18 but still my LUD on 485 did not get updated yet. How about you ? Look like u have the same date like me.

Yes, I got LUD on 485 due to first fingerprinting review complete. But I have not done second FP yet, will do it on 3/15.

I and my wife received our EAD cards within 5 days.
This is the message I got in the email from USCIS.
"On <date>, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."
After 2 days, the case status got updated with the following message.
"This case has been approved. On <date>, an approval notice was mailed."
It took 4 days from the date mentioned in the second status message to recv the cards.

When you say LUD changed. Did your message also got change or, just LUD ?
I got my FP on 3/3/2005 and LUD chnaged on 3/4 but message is still same that "application has been received... will take 359 to 360 days ...." same old original message.

Message also got changed to "On March 1, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

The processing times are TRUE if your priority date is current......for EB2 applicants, it is what it says...but for retrogressed EB3 applicants who have already filed their 485's before the retrogression started...check your priority dates...if your PD is before March 2002 and if you have filed your 485 before Aug 2004, then they will be working on your case...Else if you are EB3 and your PD is > March 2002, then the processing dates doesn't mean anything. You just have to wait till your PD becomes current.

My feeling is that 485s will be processed in the order they were received if your PD is current meaning ...Say there are 2 applicants 'A' and 'B' who have PDs of Jan 2001 and Jan 2002 respectively (don't care if it is EB2 or EB3 as both are current for this scenario). 'A' filed 485 in March 2004 whereas 'B' filed 485 in Feb 2004...in this case the 485 of 'B' will be processed sooner then that of 'A' (even though 'A' has a PD a year ahead of that of 'B') since both the PD is current for both A and B but B filed his/her 485 before 'A' filed his/her 485.

RFE on AP

Today I received a mail stating that there is an RFE on my AP. My dependents got their AP approved. We also got the EADs approved. Any ideas on what could be the RFE on AP. We did not take digital photos, no did we file electronically.

I-140 RD 12/30/04 (sub labor)
I-485 RD 12/30/04 (sub labor)
Original Labor PD: Jul 2000
EAD (self and dependent): Approved on 3/7/05
FP done: 2/18/05 results received
2nd FP: scheduled on 3/15/05
AP: Approved for dependent but RFE for self

Hi

I got my AP approved & my EAD had RFE. My photos, & all other supporting documents were in line, The RFE was for my signature which was not fitting into the designated check box.

I have replied back the RFE.I hope to get EAD approved soon
That might be your issue in AP
