How many Oct. 01-05 filers still left?

looks like someone got RFE

While checking my case status, I mistyped the EAC no. (EAC0204250914) ...and looks like this person got RFE on October 16th)

Is this Oct. RD?
 
I485seeker, you got a very nice IIO

Most of times, the IIO will not give you any useful information such as the location of your file, the typical one is: we are processing xxxx, you may hear something in 2-6 month blah blah blah, how did ask you question smartly?

The_matrix, the receipt # could be late sept. case as well as early Oct. case.

Thanks for share your information. I guess there are 29 (final) Oct.1-5 filers in this forum?

It was early in the morning and the IIO I spoke with was chirpy and bubbly…therefore, I suppose I was provided the information.
BTW, Kia thanks for starting this thread specifically to cater to the needs of those in our range of RDs.

I485seeker, thanks for your comments. Per the realCanadian, there are 3 steps for your I485 processing:

1. Staging area, after your 485 received and your case is pending?
2. workload distribution area: the area IIO can pick up anytime
3. assign to IIO

anybody correct me if I am wrong.

Why do we see lot of 10/01 RDs? ....Also among 30+ Oct. 01-05 filers, just a handful seem to be approved. What's going on?

Looks like INS is following the logic of processing late month RDs first ! ......

I am so tired of checking case status service online.

Please god help all of us ....

another Oct. 01 approval!

I just saw a Oct.01 approval on rupnet.

Oct_485 RD 10/1/01, AD 10/18/02

My RD and ND are very close to his, so hopefully next week I can hear something:)

He is not on this list, so we have 3 out of 32 approved.
 
I saw 1 RFE from this list

gckosam RD 10/1 RFE 10/21/02

so there are total 31 on the list, in summary:

26 still pending

2 Approved

2 RFE

1 local transfer

I urge everybody who got any information please update this thread, it'll be help a lot for our group, thanks!

For some reason Oct. 1 RDs are not moving fast compared to other Oct. RDs.

God knows why.

I think the early Oct. filers were fall into a big black hole(who knows what's going on in INS).
