Has anybody got I-485 receipt lately?

Mine was receive by them on 8/31/06 and I just got the receipts (I-485, I-765) today, 10/3/06
 
I got AP approval in a month but no FP yet

my signature has details.

AP applied along with 485 and approved on 9/15.

My I-485 was delivered on September 7 to NSC. Still have no receipt and the check is not cleared either.

Guys,

do you know if the 6 months count for AC21 started from the day NSC receive the case or from the day they issue the receipt?
 
i think the receipt date... ut if you are from NIW or EB1 EA... 180 day ruling is waived1 correct me if I am wrong....
 
Seems that My petion has ended in NSc hands....antonioa77, your guess seems to be right... but so far no receipts yet.....

Got the receipt

My 485/AP/EAD (EB3-ROW) was filed on 1st of September. The checks got cleared today (10/4/06). The online status shows the they received the case on September 30. It took them one month to open my application and enter into the system...

Since no clue of eeceipts yet, I am taking it for granted that it might end up in NSC as Antionita was mentioning.... Did you file for EAD and AP as well?

glad you asked!! I'm trying to do that RIGHT NOW! I'm trying to do the Efile. But I'm confused in the section about applying for previous work authorizations. Am I supposed to list my F1 practical training and all my H1B applications there?

Even though I'm a H1B visa now there's a remote change of changing jobs. And to only have an H1B as opposed to a work permit may be a restriction for certain jobs.

Ok, I think the answer to my question was in the form already: ON the section for "eligilbility status" it shows "student - valid for practical training". I think the H1B permit is a non-imigrant permit!

Did I-765 online

Really easy to do online. Hopefully they'll link it to my I-485 based on my alien number. I'll just trust what people said here that they didn't mail any other documents with it. Now, I did make a mistake I put my first name as my last name! I called them and the guy just said that I can have that corrected when I'm doing the fingerprinting. I don' tknow about that. I'm going to wait until the case is online and try calling them again.


Oh yeah, I also ask them why I haven't got the FP notice yet. He said to call again when it's been 60 days since the receipt date! :eek:
 
A sign of life from NSC, but...

It's an RFE!! :mad: But at least it shows that they are working on my case. I'm not sure though what can the RFE be. The only possibility is that they may be asking for the I20 for one school I was for a year and at the time I sent my application I couldn't find a copy of that. I'll keep you posted on what the RFE is...
