Has anybody got I-485 receipt lately?

My case was filed around 11/16, for I-485,765 and 131, for both me and my spouse. Still haven't received any receipts.

485 check has been cashed after 2 months.

just check the online bank and my 485 check has been cashed.

For I-140 premium processing How do we receive receipt number from USCIS, is that via email or fax or post? and how long it takes after receiving the petition at USCIS? My I-140 & I-485 were sent on 1/19/07 via next day delivery, no receipt yet?

Receipt number from check

FYI, If your check is cashed then you can get the receipt number (starts with LIN...) from the back of the check, assuming your bank puts a scanned copy online. Most banks do these days.

FedEx'ed I-485 on 01/15

I am only 2 weeks since my applications were fedex'ed (I believe to NSC), havent received any notices. From the recent posts, I get the impression that it takes more than 4 weeks only to receive the receipt, Huh that sounds too long to me. Morevoer I cant track the check to see if it got encashed or not, because it was issued by my employer (they in turn took money from me)..I will revisit and post if any updates are received.

Sent I-485/I-765 on 12/19/06

Sent spouse I-485 and I-765 on 12/19/06. So far have not received any receipt notice. Its about 40 days now. The tracking info said NSC received on 12/21/06. The bank checks are also not cashed so far.

It looks like its very slow at NSC right now.

Does anybody know how they process the cases like based on received date or notice date?

thanks

Receipt Notice

I, like most of you have been waiting as well. I filed in mid December and still no Receipt Notice. I have been phoning, emailing, faxing and even had a meeting this morning via infopass and I can tell you that they were of no assistance or compassion given my need to visit my ailing mother in Canada.

For those of us that are "degreed professionals" who contribute to the system, pay our taxes and do everything legal and in a timely manner, one wonders whether it is all worth the effort and frustration. "Home", as it were, is starting to look better each day.

This country has many issues facing it and if they can only figure out a way to streamline the process, it may very well keep us contributors feeling less unwelcomed. It is interesting to note that there have not been any issues with the Premium processing of my various applications. Another example of money being a very powerful tool!!!

I appreciate all of you understanding one's frustration and I am grateful for this forum for showing me that I am certainly not alone! I feel much better. Thanks.

like i mentioned before, my notice is received in 82 days!!.
11/2 RD
1/18 ND (can you beat this?)

i suggest you keep calling service center after 30 days without notice.
i kept calling until one person was nice enough to expedite(?) my case. (or case search). after a week later, i noticed my check being cashed.

usaually processing by RD or ND doesn't really matter 'cause they are only few days apart. NOT for ME!

I hope they do processing by RD.

Received receipt today

I just received a call (from work) that the receipts for all the applications (485/AP for me and 485/AP/EAD for spouse) were received by mail today. They were all submitted/fedexed on 01/15. I am surprised it came early but no complaints (for once)
