Has anybody got I-485 receipt lately?

Still No Receipt ! 1 Month and 6 Days & Still Waiting

Filed Sept 1 and still no receipt !

Are there still people out there waiting ? or am I the only one ?

Who can you escalate to?

Both times I gat an RFE I got the following message: "On xxx/20xx, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours."

I presume everybody who signs up for a online messages will get a new LUD with the above message.

Does this mean we are going to experience the same backlog wait times (like in labor processing) for the I-485?

It seems worrying that some of us have not received a receipt 1+ months after submitting the I-485

Can anyone shed some light on this please ?

He Lucky, I only have the second numbers. did you folow the prompts and put your receipt number? all the times I called though the live person would not know any more than what was already listed online or on the phone message. the general line is not really useful in my opinion...

no reciept for almost 4 weeks....
tried to reach over phone, but no way to speak to live people as no number to feed in... I am worried if my file has reached them or not :(
 
Who filed your I-485? If it was the attorney, then the attorney will receive your notices. Check with him. Also if you changed address, then that could be the reason. I applied end of September, and already got my notices the following week. And it is filed in NSC.
 
Wow, your I140 got approved in only 5 days???? Now, sorry for my ignorance, but what does the begining of your signature mean?

Am I the lonely person waiting for recipts or there are some more people waiting??? My packet was delivered on sep15th.

I have applied for I-485, 131 and 765 But I did not put all the supporting documents separately for each category of application...I have put all my supporting documents along with all the applications.

Is this a reason that they are not assigning me recipts....
 
I'm still waiting too .... haven't received anything yet ! ..........

My lawyer just got the receipt today, We filed the case on early sept but i am not sure what was the date, i am pretty sure all of you will get it soon , best luck.
now waiting for FP , then for I-140 approval , then I-485 approval , then for the GC......
 
You should chase USCIS

you should chase them as it is taking longer than usual.

I have the same courier date as yours and see the details in my signature. Not sure whether category (EB1, EB2 etc) makes a difference which should not, according to me.

20 days - no receipts

Its been 20 days since I filed my EB-1 OR application concurrently (I-140/I-485) to NSC. I haven't got the receipts yet and my checks haven't been encashed either.
I don't know whats going on :confused:
