H-1 tracker

HIB 8TH yr extn.

I have applied for my 8th yr ext. H1B with receipt date as Sep.26,2006. The receipt number contains WAC-xxx-XXXXX. Please let me know, if everyone has the same WAC number?


Also, I have seen persons has EAC number. What is the difference between WAC AND EAC numbers? Please share.

WAC is CSC

WAC numbers are processed in California Service Center and EAC numbers are processed in Vermont Service Center. The processing time is faster in CSC than VSC.
 
My case

I applied on June 14th through regular route. I am still waiting for approval. This is an 8th year extension application from Texas which was sent to CSC (per my lawyer...also per my receipt # which begins with WAC).

Did the persons who filed in May get your approval? If so, when did u get it?

extension approval is undergoing security checks

Hi,
This is very urgent and I appreciate if some body can help me. My first 3 yr H1 period got expired on Sept 30 and I appied for extension on June. I got an RFE on September and I submitted The RFE by converting the process into premium. I am supposed to get the approval in 15 days as per the premium processing instructions. Yesteday we enquired abount the status and we came to know that my "extension approval is undergoing security checks".

I appreciate if some body can answer these questions.

1)What are these security checks.
2) How long does it take to get the approval, as I have another good offer from Company B.

H1 applied in Aug

please guys if anybody applied for h1 extension in aug 06 and got approval from CSC post your info here.
 
I applied in Aug, witha receipt date of Sep11, and I am still waiting. Their website as of Dec05 says they are processing Oct01.

Thinking to upgrade to PP. What do you guys recommend ?
 
h1 extension. csc says received date as nov 07. God know when this date comes and how long it would take it to move. my dude's application got processed (applied on same date) from vsc and got approval about a week back. so i am not sure about the above statement csc is faster than vsc.
 
H1 approval notice

Guys,

How long it will take to get the approval notice, any idea? my h1 extension approval notice mailed on 6th dec as per the USCIS web site, but I haven't received yet
 
8th year H1B Approved from CSC

I got my 8th year H1B Approval from CSC (Non-Premium Processing)

Receipt Date: October 4, 2006
Notice Date: October 14, 2006
Approval Date: December 14, 2006
Received documents by mail: December 20, 2006
 
H1 - 8th year Extension Regular Processing

Attorney sent application to CIS on 11/29/2006, delivered at Vermont on 11/30/2006.
Processing at CSC.
Receipt Date 12/18/2006
Notice Date 12/19/2006

It took one month to get the receipt notice and the receipt date is printed as 12/18/2006. Is it common these days to have a 2-3 weeks delayed receipt date.

H1B Premimum Processing Transfer to Company B and 8th Yr Extension Approval Requested based on approved I-140 from Company A. Most amazing and noticeable thing is this was all completed in a week considering it to be a relatively complex case (H1B Transfer)! Petition Approval Pending Receipt.

Did you get your I-140 priority date transferred to your new company or do you have to start all over for your GC.

CSC 7th yr H1-Extension

My case status still says pending although the current processing date is Dec'21 2006 for CSC. Not sure why it is taking so long..Any one who applied around Nov 15' 2006 for 7th yr extension based on I-140 approval still waiting for approval?

Please share your experiences.

Interview ??? That is weird. Interview for what ? I have the same application date as yours. Have not heard anything yet. Mine is too a 3-year (8,9 &10) extension based on an approved I-140.
