Monday Ad OK?

My company did my RIR advertisement on Atlanta Journal Constitution's Monday edition. I heard a Sunday edition is required, is this true? Will the Monday advertisement rejected?

I did mine on Sunday newspaper of Atl Journal Constitution. Usually the RFE is issued by Regional Officer, not at State SESA. But if your lawyer oversaw the ad. process, then you don't have anything to worry about.

I think the Local DOL is sitting on their a***** and just scrutinizing the least number of applications for the 245 petition which is delaying the rest of us

labor at SESA in GA

mine was applied on may 26th, 2001....today i checked they still romancing with april, 2001....alabama moved one year, but our good ol georgians, stuck up with april 2001....CT NY NJ GA , people who applied for labor in these states are sinners , others are devine......thats discrimination.

btw, somebody told me that, he applied on june15th, 2001 and he got reciept from sesa..what that means?

The receipt is the ackowledgment as mentioned in the other emails. It shows your priority date and assigns a case number. It is a proof that GA SESA received your application. That is all.

Any of you there will have the problem of running out of 6-year maximum H1B? Mine will expire in a year. I am really worried what if labor cannot be cleared by then.

No, my lawyer said according to ac21, section 106, LC has to be filed 365 days prior (which I met) AND I-140 has to be filed (which I might not meet depending on when LC will be cleared.)

Consult w/ ur lawyer to c if u can file i140 before lc was approved. this is really an option. u do not need to file i140 after u got lc approved.

Sorry I can not remember where I found it. I read several Web sites about this some time ago stating that you can file I140 first and then give them the approved LC. I'll let you know if I find the source of info. Thanks, Shelfd.
 
risk of filing 140 without LC approval

it is true that you can file 140 without LC approval because there is usually a lead time before INS opens your 140 case. But when they are processing your case, your LC is still not approved, your 140 will be denied. it is a timing game you play. What is the particular reason for you to take this risk if I may ask?
 
how many mths to clear 4/27/01?

does anyone have a record of how long did it take for GA SESA to clear out 4/27/2001 cases? According to the Archives with the oldest month of 2/2002 as the check date, it was on 4/27/2001. So at least it took 5 mths to clear out 4/27/01 cases, counting from 2/2002-6/2002.

Does anyone have older record before 2/2002 check date to see when GA SESA started processing 4/27/2001 cases?

There are about same number of cases filed on 27th and 30th. Then we will have some idea.
