It's considered anti-immigrant as even illegal immigrants are protected under the 14th amendment per the supreme court.

I think there is some debate about that. But as long as the administration doesn't change its practice of granting citizenship automatically without regard to the status of parents, I guess the same interpretation will continue to hold.

And if the administration changes it's practice, it will be the reason for impeachment of the officials responcible (Cabinet members or the President). Violation of the Constitution is a very serious offense. No debate about that.

No, the courts will simply declare the affected children citizens.

What I mean responcible is if a US official, having appropriate authority, issues an order to stop issuing passports, for instance, for some kind of US citizens, or something like that. THAT will lead to impeachment of that official.
