Received my card 10/29/04, finally .... Good luck to all!

I did status inquiry to my case (PS July, 2004) and recently received a letter from BCIS stating that the card order is still pending and if I don't receive a response from them within 60 days then call the 800 number. Also the online message changed stating that we have sent you a response to your inquiry on Oct 2004 and if you have not received the response in 30 days then call the 800 number.

PT_Jun01, pls share what the online message states for your case.
 
High5, messag did not change!

Hi High5,

My message did not change and still says that old msg: "Your case was approved on Aug 24th and notice was mailed.....".

My LUDs were changed on 09/13 and then on 09/14 earlier after a week of passport stamping done. After over a month's silence they changed again on 11/02/04 without msg changes and then again silence. I am planning to send out a form G-731 anyway tomorrow as it directly is going to Vermont Center and they are the ones who have to initiate the card processing so....thought it would be good to send out this form. I am travelling out of the counry at the end of this month so let's see if I get the cards before that. This LUD change after a long time gave me some hope but may be it's just nothing....I don't know.

The number is 1-800-375-5283 and tell them that it has been more than 60 days since you got your passport stamped for Green Card and you have not received the physical green card yet. They will take the application information and A# and will make a non-delivery referral and will tell you to wait for 30 days.

I have done this twice already for my application and I have still not received the physical card. I guess we can just keep trying.

FYI: LUD changed again today on 11/05.

LUD changed again today wiht no msg changes. I sent out the form G-731 today anyway. As my 60 days from PS done will be coming monday 11/07, so looks like msg might change...at least I am hoping for. Good luck to all of us waiting for card...;-)

Msg Changed late in the eve.

LUD was changed second time on 11/05/04 with no mgs changes. But msg changed in the eve and rcvd emails for Card Order late in the eve on 11/05/04.

I got my passport stamped on Aug 6, till now I haven't received my card yet. I have seen many people here getting their cards in 1/2 month(s). My LUD was changed 3 times (10/15,11/4,11/8) but no change in msg. hope it won't be another long wait. Any ideas why it happenings late for me??

High5, I think you should send out a form G-731 if you haven't done that already and try to call them again if you want. I remember you have already called two times...but calling again might help you connecting to a supervisor and you may get some credible answer or resolution from them. And/Or try to visit y'r local office and explain....I read somewhere on this forum that somebody visited his local office and they expedited the situation...don't remember the details.
