GC holder need a passport to travel?

1. Other than traveling to western hemi, don't you show them what nationality you have ?
Let's say you are the UK citizen, and going to some country that doesn't require UK citizens a visa.
Citizenship could be changed and GC can not tell what citizenship you have,
hen how the official of the country you are viisting knows you don't need visa ?
And I don't know for the flight comming into the US, but flight leaving the US wants to know your eligibility to enter
the destination country which GC is not sufficient for the same reason mentioned above.
I'm sure you need passsport unless you are visiting western hemisphere.

2. Calling UK embassy ?

You will need a passport if flying into ANY country from the USA.You can fly back into the usa with just your gc but other countries want your passport.Go to your uk consulate.

Hmm….I find it odd or questionable.

Green card proves you have a right to reside in US however it is not a citizenship. From your timeline it indicates you are from NJ – thus you have heard of UN and UK has its mission hmm…

Imagine a person wants to travel to Dominican Republic or Japan lets assume he succeeded and reached at those respective airports when the immigration officer of those countries asks that person can I have your passport and that person hands him a green card ….hmm…. what do you think – will happen? will that person gain entry in Dominican Republic or Japan?

The real id act – requires you to maintain a valid [not expired] citizenship for aliens in the US.

We just renewed my hubby's expired British passport last December by FedEx through the British Embassy in Washington, DC. The whole thing took about a week from the time we sent it to the day the new passport arrived. Very easy and we got all of the forms and instructions from the same website provided here by Triple Citizen.
