I sent my FOIA request on 11/30/04 and recieved control number today?

Does any one know how to check the status?

No Sent in an ordinary mail. Why did you ask this question? Any experience of not recognizing the ordinary mail.

FYI... I alos have not Notarized the FOIA requests as its not needed for FOIA

Well, If I really requried the docs I would send them in a certified mail so that I know that they are really delivered. I actually sent in a certified mail.

They take 20 business days to decide. I do not think 20 business days has passed yet.
