Woo Hoo !!

My 140 got approved.. It was still received in the morning and just now the AVM changed the message

RD 1/31/02 ND 2/5/02 AD 3/19 EAC 02 103 5XXXX EB3 (BS + 2 / RIR LC)

I updated sce.instrack.net with the wrong AD (hit 2/19 in my excitement) and now it does not allow me to add another 140 petition and neither does it allow me to update an approved case.

Sorry about that !
 
Come on man, add/ modify the info from other sources atleast

it gives you a starting point and moreover that document doesn\'t have much of time sensitive info (expcept may be amount of fee) !!

Most of the pros and cons mentioned in the doc. still stand...

I disagree. Things have changed completely since 1999. For example, the document reads "A person wishing to apply for AOS today should be prepared to wait a minimum of 5 years for an adjudication. During this time, employee-sponsored applicants may not leave their employers or even accept promotions" This was true in 1999. In 2002, adjudications take about 1 year and employees may leave their employers 180 days after submitting the I-485, or even before. I think this is a substantial change, don\'t you?

Congratulations dc02. My EAC number is before yours[104] but no change in the AVM message. Did you find out about the approval through the AVM or through an immigration official?

I-140 Approved. Transferred Case from TSC to VSC on Feb-14,2002

Guys,
Finally my I-140 Was approved on 21-MAR-2002.My case was transferred from TSC to VSC on Feb 14th and recevied in VSC on 26-FEB-2002.

TSC original Receipt date- 24-OCT-2001
TSC original Notice Date - 14-NOV-2001
Case transferred to VSC on Feb-14 2002.

Approval Date at VSC- 21-MAR-2002
