Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

I came across a YouTube video recently that seems to confirm what others have been reporting, that USCIS is moving cases a bit faster lately. I know that probably doesn’t mean much for those of us stuck in the EOIR 42B limbo, but maybe it’s a small sign that things could start moving in immigration court too. Holding onto some hope

I know this waiting game really sucks, but when you think about everything going on right now, there are so many people in even worse situations than we are. Gotta keep the positive thoughts—hang in there, everyone!

Congratulations to everyone who has received their Green Card. I am reaching out to see if any of you have traveled abroad. I am planning to visit Italy in December for about two weeks. Any advice?

Hi I Am thinking exactly the same, I just hear about someone case that he was detained and got his court and was released with granted case, and got his green card immediately, so I thought that a lot of people out there are getting granted bc of the situation and we who are waiting from outside are putting on side let’s hope this coming October we will get our cases granted,

Yeah, cases for those while in detention happen faster because usually each Detention Center has its court in house or near by. Those cases dont count towards the visa limit though and many are being ignored. I would think if they already have a verbal approval and they are detained then they would just formaly give them the GC, but with this administration its hard to tell.

I really don’t know, I have a friend that they don’t have any case and he was detained for something else while he was in jail immigration came and picked him up. Days after he got his court and immigration granted him cancellation of removal because his attorney submit his application in the same time and they were here sense 1990 3 us kids and you know What they gave his wife too not only to him and my attorney told us that if the judge grant cancellation of removal it count on the 4k visas available for a fiscal year. But let’s just wait. Don’t lose hope may God grant us patience and keep us safe wile our time is coming.
 
Hi everyone just wondering what do you think about my case. We got verbal approval on 4/22 but my husband work permit will expire this coming October to renew it we will need 1,500 do you think we should renew it or leave it and wait for the granted letter. Any advise please thanks .

I would renew it because been renewed proof that you are updated in your case in case you need proof that you are authorized to stay in country. I know the money can be a lot but if you apply yourself will cost half of that you do not need a lawyer to do that

Hi, you should Renew as soon as possible.My suggestion is don’t wait for the grant letter.

Thanks. The thing is that all my correspondence arrive my lawyer. Everything
 
Does anyone have an experience with requesting for infopass or passport stamping in Newark field office? I was trying to request so I can show the employer that I’m authorized to work but so far I haven’t received any call back from them.
 
Hello ya'll, as many of you here, I am also waiting for the letter (verbal approval July 2022)... has anyone taken a domestic flight with this administration, how was the experience? I flew often with previous administrations but kind of afraid with everything going on now days. Thanks in advance.

Hello
You should renew it, but do it yourself. It will cost you less. Majority of the information is on your card. If you remember how you entered tge US with exact date, port of entry and type of visa, you should be fine.
 
Hey guys, today I went to my appointment with ICE as I usually do every year with the news that they put an ankle monitor on me and I was already verbally granted it on 08/22. I'm just waiting for the written letter from the judge. It's very uncomfortable to walk around with this monitor. It makes me feel like I'm a bad person. Have any of you had an experience with a similar situation? Have you been able to remove it?
