I sent an email and here is the response from a lawyer at murthy.com

Thank you for your eMail. Historically, there have always been differences between the processing times at the different Service Centers. While this is really not fair, it is unlikely that it will completely be resolved. The USCIS is well aware of this issue as people complained about it for years. The Texas Service Center, in fact, used to be one of the worst with processing times measured in years when, for example, the Vermont Service Center was processing I-485s in less than a year.



The cases are now being divided between Nebraska and Texas. Therefore, hopefully some of the cases from Nebraska will end up in Texas based upon the new jurisdictional rules. With all the cases that were filed, it would seem that there will have to be some changes in procedures to accommodate the volume of cases.



We will raise these discrepancy issues at the next appropriate opportunity.

I am about to file my 485 and 140 concurrently EB2. Is that a good idea. The job requires 5 years of work experience, do the experience letters need to say the exact same experience or (as the companies usually do) title, date and salary in the reference letter is enough.

I just posted a reply to a post by TheRealCanadian who states that getting an I-485 approved within 90-120 days of filing the same is next to zero.

Approval for a June 21st filer!! That makes it 83 days including the holidays.

EB2 - India June 2007 I-485 filers!! Let us keep this thread alive and kicking.

EAD - Card Production Ordered for Spouse and Kids

EAD - Card Production Ordered for Spouse and Kids

I am happy to inform that I saw a LUD today for my wife and two kids on their I-765 applications and the message is 'Card Production Ordered on September 24, 2007' and I also received 3 separate e-mails for I-765.

The EAD/AP/AOS applications of the three were received on June 14, 2007 and rejected and sent back for lack of copy of approved I-140 on July 5, 2007 and they were received at TSC again on July 6, 2007. All the three have already received their FP appointment notices (FP appointment on 10-09-07) more than a week back. Hopefully, they should have their AP also in a couple of weeks. It has been quite a torturous wait for two months after my petitions were accepted and processed and theirs were rejected. See my details in the signature.

The Rajiv Khanna forums are certainly a huge source of information and consolation while we deal with the unpredictable and incorrigible USCIS.

Today i got EAD card production ordered email from CRIS


I have received an email from CRIS stating the I765 card production has been ordered (for my wife). And there is an LUD on my 765 on 9/28

I-140 approved on 10/25/07 ( received RFE on company financial took 45 days after response)
applied for wife's I-485.EAD/AP after approval of I-140 on 6th November 2007 (she was on F1 visa so did not want to put that in danger inase is I-40 got denied).
Current Status : I am on H1B
Not sure what happens next ? Not sure what LUD is still new to the I-485 form :->
