The processing time on service center is the key if your application will be picked up for processing or not. Meaning, for example, NSC processing date today is Jun 8, 2007. If your 485 application receipt date is before Jun 8, 2007 and your PD is current then only your application will be adjudicated. Otherwise, wait when both of these cut-off dates are becoming current for your case.

In that scenario, several applicants who have filed after Jul 18, 2007 when USCIS opened flood gates are still not lucky enough if their receipt dates are not within the cut-off at the processing centers.
 
When does the NSC or TSC processing date change ?
Normally how much jump the processing dates make every month ?

All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope we get the "good news" soon. :cool:

Waiting to see the green signal this month

One confusion is that Processing center date are published based on what applications they have processed so far based on their Priority dates. How can the processing date can go back?? Meaning, if the center have already processed applications till Jul 30th how can now they go back to Jun 8 and un-do the processed applications that have been processed so far till Jul 30th?

Yes, I got another email this morning that card production has been ordered. end of a long and arduous journey.

That means that on Apr 1 when priority dates becoming current makes the approval possible. Regardless of the Receipt date which is even after Jun 8th in this case. That gives hope for all the Jun / Jul filers that if their PDs are current even though their RD is beyond Jun 6, there is a chance of approval.

LC Applied - 07/01/02 (NY EB2 IND)
LC Approved - 4/12/2006
I140 Approved - 12/20/2006
Service Center - NSC
I485 - RD 05/13/06 - ND 05/26/06 - LUD 06/13 (FP) - Waiting

Called USCIS yesterday to find that NC was pending and asked them to put in a mail that it can be approved per new law. She said that it may take 45 days ( it could have a adverse affect if Visa dates are unavailable or goes below 07/2002 before next month).

She also mentioned that there are lots of cases for which there is NC pending and this may also contribute to delay.

Will keep posted.
