EB1- OR: please update your info.

I am working on H-1B visa with my new employer. My boss changed his job, so I changed with him. I don't know whether it will affect the pending I140/485 petitions. Actually I am even not sure whether my previous employer has withdrawed my I140 or not. I think both of our fates are now laying on the BCIS's hands. I am just depressed and don't want to waste time to apply again. :( But good luck to you and all other people who are anxiously waiting for the results. Wish all of you get good news soon.

I am asking that since I got layed off while still waiting for I140 OR approval. My previous employer agreed not to withdraw my I140 petition, but they said that they are cancelling my H1B visa with them.

I found and started a different job using my EAD card while new employer is working on transferring my H1B visa to them. I just worry if cancellation of H1B visa will somehow affect pending I140/I485 petitions. Any thoughts on that?

RPB8260 Finally Approved!!

Today has been a great day. I spent time on the beach with my wife and kids and came home to find that my I-140 is finally approved!!! I received an e-mail notification from USCIS saying that it was approved on Saturday, August 21st. This is confirmed on their website. Thank god.

Thanks everyone for your support and fellowship over the last few, painful months. Your turn will come soon, if it hasn't already.

Hi - I'm new to this forum. I've been waiting for my I-140 approval for a long time, so I share your frustation. Here are my details:

I140/ 485 concurrent filing (VSC)

EB1-A (extraordinary ability)

not sure how to add it to your list....

anybody knows when is USCIS supposed to update its processing dates again, following the "surprise" update of 08/18?

Now only two people left without any news before the current processing date.
Oh. I just found the most unfortunate guy prlove. Hope that it's just because he forgot to update his approval.

My 140 OR case has ND of 10/09/2002. I checked it almost daily for more than one years. nothing ......
I doubt those guys just lost my case.

Few of us in this thread had gone through the ordeal you are now subjected to !
It is impossible to predict the day which would end this exhausting suffering. From my expereince, I can tell you this: the day is going to come and it is going to be good.
Wait for the processing dates to pass November the 10th, then start the case status inquiry. In my case I have to remind the USCIS twice.

Almost 2 years and NOTHING

I know this thread is for EB1-OR but i'm in a terrible situation - have been waiting since 10/09/2002 (ND for EB1-EA) - not one change to that application...did concurrent filing, had 1FP which cleared in Dec 2002 and 2 EADs...3rd renewal currently in at USCIS...

How much longer....Any other EB1-EA's in a similar situation...

I can't stand it any longer..

I am in the same boat. Filed EB1 EA in Nov. 2002, but have not heard anything so far.

I did not file I485.

The day will come, hold on there!!!!!!!!!

I filed EB1_EA concurrently, 4 months after you (ND: 02/05/03). The only update that USCIS has done to date is an address change that I filed. Had only 1 FP done, which has now expired. I'm on my second EAD and going nuts....

I did get the FP1 done too (in Nov of 2002)...my attorney has said that when i receive the next FP, they'll be close to approval...i pulled out my case file the other day (all 3 folders of it) - no wonder a case worker won't touch it...

fortunately i still have my job (even though it's not great and Co. has gone through many problems over the 2y) and get paid every 2 weeks - better than some folks i guess..

Can't wait till the VSC case dates get past due and then i can start inquiries...

Also, will be interested if USCIS publishes guidance on the 1=140 portability (106c) that there's been a lot of chat about...

Just a word of encouragement to hang in there. Less than two weeks ago I was feeling exactly the same way as you. I have an I-140 EB1 OR with ND 10/10/02.

My attorney called USCIS to make a status enquiry on Aug 10th. I didn't think they would do anything because the published processing date is less than 30 days after my date, but my case was approved on Aug 21st. Four days later I received FP2 notices for Sep 29th, so things are now progressing.

So I suggest making a status enquiry if you haven't already done so,

Nov 2002 EB1-OR are still waiting too

Guys, I've been also waiting for the approval after filing I140 on Nov 2002. I did I485 much later, Dec. 2003, due to an emergency travel. So no FP done. I don't know when my day will come, but I do feel extremely jealous for those concurent guys who filed even mid of 2003 and got 140/485 both approved already. :confused:
 
We just got a mail from BCIS about the FP1 notice. However, that is only for my spouse but not for me. I am the primary person doing GC. Our I-40 received date is 9/24/03.
 
I just got first FP notice ND 8/26/04; FP1 to be done on 09/23/04 (almost 6 months (182 days) from I-485 ND) No LUD change no e-mail. My wife (derivative) also got FP1 notice for same day and time.


I-140 (EB1-OR VSC) ND 12/1/03 Pending
I-485 ND 03/25/04 Pending
FP 09/23/04

What does FP2 mean at this time?

Hi there,

I am one of the poor guys here since the length of my neck was expanded a few inches in last two years. A few days ago, I got a notice for FP2 scheduled on Sep.16 for both myself and my wife. In fact, I have been waiting for news on I-140 since the RFE reply of I-140 was received on July 13. Do you guys have any idea on what will happen next for me? For your reference, here is my history,

I-140 (EB1-OR VSC) ND 07/26/02 Pending
I-485 ND 11/13/02 (myself) Pending
I-485 ND 09/16/02 (wife) Pending
FP1 10/01/02

FP notice

Can anyone give me an idea when 's the fingerprint notice up to now?I have a ND on 7/18/04, but have not recieved FP notice yet. We moved a couple of weeks ago, should I worry? :(
 
Got 2nd FP notice, No news on I-140

My wife and I got notices for 2nd FP (dated Sep 7). Went early and got them done yesterday. NO changes on my LUDs for either the I-140 or the I-485s (they have never changed since the initial submission of the applications, all are Dec 23rd 2002). My I-140 RD is Nov 22'02. Maybe somebody's looking at my file and I'll have good news to report soon ;)
