DV 2025 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Process Only

Mom. Im planning to file based on June VB’s advnaced notification section.

1. I know about early filing but iam confused, say the JUNE VB releases today and my CN is in July’s (Advanced notification) numbers, do i have to wait till June 1st to send my package? As the advanced chart is in June VB?

2. Can you guide me to the link for steps on how to reschedule the Bio appointment to a prior date using NOA?
1. If your AOS package is received before July 1st (the first day of the month in which your CN is current), that would be considered as early filing.
2. Please take a look at the FAQ tab of the AOS Process spreadsheet where this has been explained.

So, the Visa Bulletin for June will be released tomorrow, which is about 15 days before the actual month begins. My question is: does the bulletin become applicable starting June 1st, allowing me to file based on its “Advance Notification” section, or can I file as soon as it’s published?

( i have read that i have to wait until 1st of the VB’s month to file based on the advanced notification section)

Also can anyone else who filed 2 months prior on this forum give me some clarity?

I appreciate your guidance

I clearly answered your question. The June VB which gets released in May will contain both the June (Section B), and July (Section C - Advance Notification) cut-off numbers. The "Advance Notification" (section C) is for cases that will become current in July. So if your CN is falls under the Advance Notification section, meaning your CN becomes current in July, if you send in your package and it is received by the Lockbox anytime between the day the June VB gets released and June 30th (any day before July 1st), it is considered early filing.

You can file as soon as the VB gets published if you wish to take advantage of early filing, or wait until the first day of the month in which your CN becomes current before filing, your call! Spend some quality quality time going over the AOS Process spreadsheet (the FAQ tab where this is further explained) to help you better understand the process.

Hello All,

Just want to thank you all for the questions, answers and advice you have submitted. While we haven't posted before, I have tried to keep an eye on the posts in case something popped up that would assist us. As holders of E3 and E3S visas, we would go through the AOS process. After being notified of selection via my Wife, we completed our medicals and got the initial papaerwork and payments completed by December last year and were ready when our number was called. It has taken 5 months, but as of yesterday we are approved and our status is showing cards are being printed.

Congrats. Is your timeline in the spreadsheet? That would be helpful to others.

Congratulations and thanks for the update.

Thanks, this is helpful. I was so excited to see that status change but seems like my enthusiasm was a bit premature. Good luck and let us know when you receive the letter.
Hello! I saw on the spreadsheet that your notice came through for the Seattle FO - did your USCIS status change to "Interview scheduled" or did you just receive the physical notice letter? Just as mine has been "ready to be scheduled" for almost a month and I submitted in November...

In addition to 2 months of payslips, should I prepare an I-134 as a backup just to have it for the interview or unnceccesary?

You should plan on taking along more than 2 months pay-slips. 3 to 6 months is what is recommended.

Having a sponsor provide your with an I-134 (with the applicable supporting documents) for you to have on hand as available back-up financial support evidence is never a bad idea. You only present it if requested.

Merhaba. Ben dv2025 kazananıyım. Ancak, dava numaram oldukça yüksek. Yaklaşık EU29000.. Son 2 ay kaldı. Acaba EU29000 geçerli olacak mı? Bizi de üzebilir. 10 Haziran ve 10 Temmuz'u heyecanla bekliyoruz. Son 2 bültenden beklentileriniz neler? Herkese teşekkürler

Hello. I am a dv2025 winner. However, my case number is quite high. Around 29000.. Last 2 months left. I wonder if 29000 will be valid. May also upset us. We are excitedly waiting for June 10 and July 10. What are your expectations from the last 2 bulletins. Thanks everyone
I guess it's EU number. Well, there are some people, like Britsimon, who say that in order to issue 17k visas available to Europe, they should make 28-29ks current, otherwise it is mathematically impossible to issue all available visas. I think Simon still believes these numbers, he expects a jump (hail mary he says) maybe in September. I made my own calculations as well, and if they keep going this way, EU can reach 25k max, but most of the time they push numbers way higher in September. Fingers crossed, I hope we can see 30k in September.

If I did early filing and received NOA - Form I-797C back confirming receipt, does this mean USCIS has accepted my advance filing of the AOS DV package for further processing?

Hello, I have a quick question.. Is it safer to do early filing if you become current in August/September?
That’s pretty much why early filing exists - to give enough time to people whose CNs become current near the end of the fiscal year

Hi everyone,

My family and I gave our biometrics on March 3rd. Today (April 2nd), I spoke with a live USCIS agent who told me that a field officer reviewed our case on March 28th (San Jose office).

However, there’s been no change in the case status online (still shows “Fingerprints Were Taken”) and we haven’t received any mail or notice.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal for a field officer to review a case without sending any external communication? What does this usually mean?

Thanks in advance! Also—big thanks to everyone who shared timeline spreadsheets here, they’ve been super helpful.
Looks like you had your interview 2 days ago, 5/14 - how did it go?

Hey. Ya, the USCIS status did change for us. And we got the letter a week after it said 'interview is scheduled'. Although, I remember reading in this forum that sometimes USCIS can send the letter directly without the status update.

Hi Mom, Our number is active, and we will do AOS, we got married in the US a year and a half ago, but we are not married in our home country and we never really thought of this as an issue. However, when we upload our documents, do you think they will cause any problems because of this? We have our marriage certificate, but in the records we obtained from our home country, we will not appear as married

You not being married in, or your marriage not being recorded in your home country shouldn’t impact your AOS application.
