Wooow , congratulationsHi Mom,
Today I got a surprising email from some third-party app I had installed and upon checking my USCIS account the status had changed to "New Card Is Being Produced" (Changed yesterday July 19). I don't know why I did not get the email notification from USCIS, which I have signed up for.
On July 14th I requested an expedition of my case through Emma and I got a response via email on July 18th that my case is still "pending review by an immigration officer at the Boise Field Office. Once your visa is available, we will send your green card to production and mail your card to the address we have on file." On July 24th I tried walk-in with no success. I wrote an unsolicited letter explaining how long I had waited after my interview, my concerns about the approaching end of FY, and the limited number of visas that are being finished. They refused me to enter the field office or drop my letter so I mailed it to them the same day. I am not sure if it played any part in the status change.
No words can express what I feel and how thankful I am to Mom, BritSimon, Blade, and my fellow AOSers. Thank you so much. The journey has been tough but you have always been with us, giving us hope and guidance, not to mention it's for free. May the happiness you help bring to people's faces be a blessing to you always. I am glad to be part of this forum. I would like to know if there's a way one can donate to the forum.
I wish the waiting AOSers to get good news too!
PS. I have updated the Excel sheet.

"Lawfully"what's the name of the app?
when u asked for an expedite, you didn't get an email that ask about proof documents?"Lawfully"
Mom advised it's best to use the official USCIS notification system. The app is a third party. I had deleted the app but seems I forgot to delete my account that's why I got the notification from them.
No, I got an email explaining the status of the casewhen u asked for an expedite, you didn't get an email that ask about proof documents?
Congratulations!! Eagerly waiting for the same news. Regarding the unsolicited letter, Did you just post in the USCIS field office address?Hi Mom,

Hi @naksvegas can I contact you privately? I didn't quite understand what you did (I didn't know it was possible to request an expedite through Emma or use an app) and I would like to know how to do that too because I am still waiting to receive my e-notification and NOA and I am going crazyHi Mom,

Similar to how you request for case status or Tier 2 call back through Emma, I explained my long wait after the interview. I then requested the officer to submit an expedition request on my behalf to my FO. I was asked the reason for my expedition request (similar to the list of reasons you see on the website), to which I answered "other reason" and explained it.Hi @naksvegas can I contact you privately? Or @Sm1smom if you know and want to explain it to me I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!
That happens quite often. Nothing to be worried about. My status just changed to "Case Was Approved", I hope there is nothing to worry about
