I typically do not provide guidance on how to fill the I-824 as it is not a part of the standard DV process guidance which I provide here. However I took a look at the form and I do not understand precisely what doubts you’re having about the sections you listed:Hello Mom
I'm filling out I-824 and I'm having doubts about some field like
Part1. at point 4, 5 and 12 ?
Part2 at point 1c ?
Part3 at point 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d ?
Do I need to fill out I-130 ?
Part 1. Q4: You should know whatever your current immigration status is
Part 1. Q5: You’re not a USC, so you wouldn’t have a naturalization certificate number, correct?
Part 1. Q12: You came across this same question on the I-485 you submitted for yourself, correct? So same answer.
Part 2. Q1c: I can’t help you figure out the embassy with jurisdiction over the country where your family is currently based, you need to figure that out yourself.
Part 3 Q1a: I-485 (Pending Adjudication)
Part 3 Q1b & 1c: You should be able to find the information on the acceptance receipt (NOA) for your I-485.
Part 3 Q1d: The case is not yet approved, so you have no approval date.
You have no basis for filing an I-130 at this point since you’re neither a LPR or a USC.
