DV 2023 All Selectees (Consular Processing - CP)

Sorry, I am not coherent.
1. Since I am in US and we are thinking for CP, is it possible to get an answered if our DS is processed and ready to interview in the next months? We have a job offer for the summer and we will have to sign a contract in 2 month. Since I can't do AOS ,we travel home for CP but we wanna make sure we get an interview (before we give up the job offer)
2. For I-130, the husband (if he gets the GC) can he file while I continue to get h2b extensions until my visa allows?

1. It may be possible. But getting a response about the DS260 being processed (or not) is irrelevant IMO. Confirmation of the DS260 having been processed really means nothing for as long as the interview is yet to be scheduled.
2. Yes husband can file the I-130 anytime he becomes eligible to do so. A NIV approval is never guaranteed for any applicant, with or without a pending I-130.

The document procedure is put in hold, you as a DV 2023 Selectee no longer need to provide documents to KCC, you'll only be required to present them to the post at the time of your interview
 
Does anyone know if US Consulate Montreal has any other phone number other than (514) 398-9695 we can reach them at? The last time we received an update from them was to let us know that Police Certificate was received, but medical exam was expired although it was performed late September (a few days before the interview date).

We have submitted DS260 on 12.30.22 and selected "Interview at Bucharest" and emailed KCC to let them know that we want to change from AOS to CP (we already got a 2 NL for AOS).
Attached is the email we've received.
Is there something else I can do to make sure they will start processing or they will do that when they see the selection for the Embassy instead of Uscis?

I suppose you received the AOS 2NL based on making the Administrative fee payment. If that’s the case, there was no need to email the KCC about switching from AOS to CP if you never submitted the DS260 form before and your first time submitting was when you decided to process CP. The DS260 will be processed when it gets to its turn once they see the CP option has been selected.

Yes, the 2 NL was after the DV fee payment for AOS for me and my husband.
Is something I can do proactively while we are waiting? like contact later the embassy.. see if they schedule DV applicants? I see on the forum that other embassies have a lot of people from Ukraine or Russia.

Contacting the embassy is pointless as there’s nothing they can do about your case until the KCC schedules the appointment. So you’ll just have to be patient for now for the KCC to process your forms and schedule the appointments.

Hi, thanks for the reply. when we went for medical along with a baby they have refuse to do the medical at the hospital by saying can’t do medical without baby’s name on the interview letter. so I informed the local embassy about this via emails. I received automated replies. but no response from them yet. and we have interview in few days time.

Informing the embassy of the inability to get the baby's medical completed due to baby's name not being on the interview letter is not the same as asking the embassy to unlock your DS260 forms in order to include and create a separate DS260 form for the baby - these are two different issues. Anyway, there's nothing else you can do at this point but to attend the interview as scheduled. You'll find out what the next step should be on that day.
 
I have few question regarding affidavit of support.

1.what documents required from the sponsor?

2. is it must to have signed by a pen because my sponsor sent with E signature?

3. on the I-134 page 6 - no 15. sponsor and his family members income must be displayed or just the dependants and the date of birth?

we have already filled the i134 but have these questions before we finalise.

ok. thank you. is it advisable to send another mail to unlock the DS260 at this point? or we just go for the interview? the thing is we have found someone who has interview on the same day with same time has the same issue. his baby was born in December and he didn’t add the baby as well.
 
Hello Sir, In my initial entry application i put my name( ali ali ayub) but in my passport it is ( ali ayub ). I put my name repeatedly in middle name. also i filled ds260 according to my passport, is that make me disqualify?

Why did you list your FN as your MN if you have no MN? Anyway, it all depends on the CO, if they feel what you did was done to enable you submit multiple entries, they will no doubt deny your case. You'll find out one way or the other when you show up for the interview.

I made mistake. I thought it’s a must, i should have listed what was written on my passport. I hope it won’t create problem.
