DV 2022 Europe

Hi!
My embassy is in Paris. But I don't know if this is normal. Maybe I have to wait until January? Maybe the interviews haven't really started yet in Paris? If I contact them, what should I tell them?
Your case is still at KCC if you haven't been scheduled for an interview so I doubt the embassy could help, you can write to kcc to see the status of your case

I think DV interviews in Paris are only starting this month (January), so hopefully you’ll be scheduled soon.

Hi French_Ellie,
I hope I will have some news this month and why not be programmed for an interview. That would be great but my CN is EU4### so I don't know if it will be soon.
And for you it's coming soon if I remember correctly?

Yes, my interview is scheduled for January 12th (EU14xx). I hope all goes well!

Hopefully you’ll be scheduled for February, or March at the latest.

Happy New Year! I wish you good things and especially a great interview and the green card to make it all happen.
As for me, I hope that God hears you and that I will soon hear from the KCC for an interview.

Hi everyone and thank you for your help!

I've been selected but my documents have only been received in October 8th (despite having send my DS-260 on May 12th and the documents in early August, could be related to the fact that I had traveled a lot ?)...anyway no news since October, I have never received the famous DQ but from what I understood with Britsimons, it seems they don't send a DQ e-mail anymore.
So my question is: in CEAC, does "At NVC" means, at least, that my documents have been received and qualified ? Or do we have definitely no idea...?

Thanks

PS: i have a 2022EU15K number

Maybe you have clicked at the link "Check My Visa Application Status"?
I find it some kind of misleading but from what I have read about it is, that information under this navigation point are not significant for "us" DV folks. NVC is not KCC. I don't know why the KCC DV Case Number is accepted in that form.

I made air jumps when I accidentally clicked that link and thought my case got processed... I hit the ground hard.

@Shinobe @cedricwe
The CEAC “check my visa application status” link works fine for DV visas. You just have to take into consideration that the default status is “At NVC” until your case is ready for scheduling (they don’t have a different default status for DV visas, so it doesn’t say at KCC).

Once your DS has been processed and is ready to be scheduled, your CEAC status becomes “ready”, and then changes to “at Paris” (or whatever embassy you’re interviewing at) once you’ve been scheduled.
Finally, after you attend the interview, the status usually becomes “administrative processing” for a short while before becoming either “issued” or “denied”.

Thank you for sharing this info. In fact I requested to unlock my DS to KCC, and they replied that my case number is current for interview processing and I will be soon schedule for an interview, but my status at CEAC is not Ready. It still says “at NVC”. Is this normal, if you have any info? Thanks

Hi everyone,
So, apparently, I'm current based on the last crazy VB and should probably get my interview in April...but I was planning to visit a friend in US from mid-March until my interview.
Is it possible or is it forbidden (or not recommended) to travel to US before the interview ?

I don’t know exactly when your status changes. My interview was scheduled before CEAC status check became available, so my status was already “Ready” on January 1st.

Oh and I need to correct my previous message… Your CEAC status actually doesn’t change to “at Paris” (or other embassy) on the status check page, it is that status on your DS-260 submission page that does.
The CEAC status therefore stays on “Ready” until you attend the interview, and then changes to either “Administrative Processing”, “Issued” or “Refused”.

Hi guys.
Does anyone know where to find ‘priority date’? I have an interview scheduled in China Guangzhou embassy, but I’m EU selectee, and before the interview, they’re asking me to do online registration, which I’m unable to submit because mandatory filed is priority date? When I google the term, it says you can find that date on I-140 form, which I obviously don’t have. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi Guys,
An EU14xxx Case of Frankfurt here.
After reading all the entries I am a little concerned that we sent the DS260 end of December. We married first and as I am the primary applicant we waited for my new passport with my new name on it.

The document procedure is not in place any more but I am trying to figure out if it would still be a good idea to send the documents to the KCC anyway.. to have an additional contact point and to show what good applicants we are. What do you think? A little desperate here.

Did some of you already enter lawsuits?

Best wishes.

Hey there!
It doesn't matter anymore - sending them will have no effect as they won't be processing them anymore. But you can send them an email and inquire about your case, do you know if your DS260 was processed or not?

Hey, thank you! Beginning of March KCC said that my forms are currently processing and that I should allow several weeks for them to be processed. But I guess it is a standard Mail.

Yeah, you can't expect to get anything other than a standard email from them unfortunately.

Hello guys, does anyone have any experience with Afidavit of support? USA embassy in China listed it as mandatory document. I know the purpose, but when I download the form and go on to fill it out, some of the fields are greyout and doesn’t let you fill out the information? Also, once it’s completed what’s the next step? Do I have to submit it somewhere or just take it with me to the interview? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
