DV 2022 AOS (Adjustment of Status) Only

Practicing yoga every day. About 50 times a day, I check the spreadsheet and the status of my case. I still feel the same way when I look at spreadsheet and see that some people got their interview dates in May, but I still don't have mine. All you can hear is silence...

Hi, I have filed DS260 for DV2023 and selected option to send my file to USCIS for AOS. I was going through the timelines and see that I-485 processing takes around15-18 months at various field offices. Since, my case no is AS100XX, it may become current in july/august 2023 (when I will be filing for AOS). Now, how can my AOS be successfully processed in this situation. Is AOS is even possible if CN doesn't become current, as early as Oct'22? am i thinking too much?

Hey guys, had a thought on the timeline spreadsheet. I believe there's a key metric missing on timeline sheet and that's one that shows the days between Interview Date and Card Production Date. I've noticed that some people get the card production notification almost immediately after the interview and some have to wait for a while. I think adding this metric will give more visibility and expectation for applicants. Now I don't knwo what the process of adding columns is but I'm happy to do it if agreed upon. Let me know what you all think.

Hi Yadman, I see that you had your interview on May 13th. Have you heard anything else since then? Any changes to your case status or the welcome letter?

Ho AlmostDone, my status has been stuck on "Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed" since my interview. Hoping for it to change soon. Would one get a welcome letter before a switch to CPO notification?

Hi. I mistakenly used my personal check to pay the dv payment (330$). It was cashed two days after delivery, but I still have not received the receipt (4 days from the cash day). I had contacted kcc to ask for digital receipt but they did not answer me. Now, I want to know could the personal check cause any problem? As long as the check is cashed, should I be worry about it?
Does anybody know that I need to redo the payment or I should wait a couple of more days.

The USCIS publicly posted processing timeline is not applicable to DV based AOS applications. Take a look at the Timeline Spreadsheets put together in this forum (links to those can be found on one of the tabs on the AOS Process Spreadsheet) to get an idea of the average processing time to DV based AOS applications. You will see cases that became current in July/August (or even September) and how long it took those to complete the AOS process.

Do not add any new column to the spreadsheet please, users are not allowed to do so. Suggestion taken under advisement.

Thank you for your answer Yadman. I'm sure things will get better for you soon.

Well then, If you’re taking unwarranted suggestions :D… IMO the spreadsheet would read more fluidly having the ds-260 submission date/ 2NL letter received columns at the beginning. Although not everyone does it, I feel it would flow more like the AOS process that is written.

It would except half of those processing AOS do not submit the DS260 form since it is not mandatory. Putting that section in front will result in too many useless blank cells. Plus if you look at some of the earlier spreadsheets, those sections do not even exist, I only added those to the back flow about two to three years ago.

p.s. I am not necessarily taking unwarranted suggestions, but there’s freedom of expression I suppose. Everyone has an opinion on something :)

Yeah, that’s understandable. Thought that may be the reason behind the layout which is why I mentioned it... Everyone reads data differently, but for me a blank cell at the start flows better In terms of timeline dates. Good thing I can just copy the timeline into my own excel spreadsheet and edit it to my liking then paste back in to the appropriate cells, certainly why I held off on entering my AOS process into that spreadsheet, felt incomplete seeing half at the starting cells - nothing- data in the end cells .

I.e., an unwarranted suggestion lol. You didn’t ask for it, I’m just sharing my opinion.

Oh yeah!

Speaking of the timeline… I have the same submission date/ acceptance text date, to a few other members, and it shows they have already received their NOA letter (3 days after the text), and I am still waiting.

I went back through the timeline dates, the timeframe from; acceptance text, to NOA letter received, looked pretty similar overall in terms of days but, like the person above said, “patience” lol. I just checked my USPS Informed Delivery for tomorrow, I was starting to get a little antsy!
