If your referring to the Milanes case, most of the main plaintiffs in the case have been granted Naturalization.

does this lawsuit have anything to do with us we r waiting for the IL?

Yes, it most certainly does.

This is a class-action lawsuit that seeks relief for all NYC natz applicants who applied prior to March 31, 2008. It demands completion of all N-400s included in the class by September 30, 2008, in order to enable the class members to vote in this year's election.

From the looks of it, it seems that the plaintiffs have a very good chance of winning.

From the most recent court documents, it looks like defendants have filed motion to dismiss based on the fact that main plaintiffs have since been granted citizenship.

I can't wait to see how this turns out. Come to think of it, I wonder if NYC has cleared the summer 07 backlog?
