December 2004 Concurrent filing

FP Done today ....saturday

Hi All,

Today we went to ASC for FP done for both of us.........its very smooth in Denver, CO .... I am impressed with their service.

Luckily no one there in front of us.. we arrived around 9:15 AM on saturday morning.....we took the appointment letter, driverse license. At the entrance they gave an application to fill, after that with that application, appointment letter, driverse license with the fp officers and they took both of us to the fp kisok and we are done total in 20 minutes.

Here are the details.

I140/485/EAD/AP
RD: 12/13/2004
ND: 12/14/2004
LUD: 12/20/2004

both :
AP : 1) LUD 2/18/2005 2) 2/21/2005

For Wife:
AP: AD 2/23/2005 and LUD 2/24/2005
EAD: AD 2/24/2005 LUD on 2/25/2005
FP: done on 2/26/2005 (ND 2/18/2005)
Mine:
EAD: 2/23/2005 Approved and again LUD 2/24/2005
AP: 2/23/2005 Approved and email got on 2/24/2005
FP: done on 2/26/2005 (ND 2/18/2005)

Can you please help me understanding when I can go to SSN office to get a new SSN for me?? I am righnow on H1, the SSN is saying "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH INS AUTHORIZATION"

For those who did a concurrent filing in Dec2004 ,going by the present trends how long would it take for us to get our I-140 cleared from Nebraska ?

well, with the current trend it seems like it would take between 12 to 15 months...........others no need to agree with me though.

Any information on possibilities to get both I-140+I-485 processed at the same time ? (in 12 to 15 months)

about 140 & 485

Hi,

I heard from one of my friend saying it is NO longer going to happen.......like approval of 140+485 at the same time......even if you are a concurrent filer.

I think after the approval of 140 you have to wait for the 485 date......which is right now like around october 2003.

It depends, i still see concurrent filers are getting approval a week of 140 approval..not all.. whoever PD is current..+ there are always some exceptional cases

It is a provision called American competitiveness act by which those who have approved I-140 and 485 pending for more than 180 days can change jobs without affecting their 485 application.
 
got LUD changed

Hi All,

I went for FP on saturday.......

Today I see an LUD change on my EAD ... which is saying about the approval of ead and mailed info...

I took a bunch of 140 cases with ND of 12/29/2004, 12/30/2004, 01/03/2005 and 01/04/2005 and I noticed that some 140 applications have been approved.

I used the so called scanner and created a subset of cases around the dates I mentioned and found it strange that some of the cases around these dates have been approved...I am kind of surprised and thought would share this info.

was your lin number exists in the list? Mine is not there, so we are missing some cases I am not sure how those numbers have missed. Please let me know. Thanks for sharing the info.

Yes, my LIN exists in the list. As I said this is only a limited set of cases not each and every case for those dates. What I was trying to point out is even for those cases some seemed to have been approved which is kind of strange.

RFE status

Hi KK,
Have you seen any LUD changes for your AP and EAD applications ? I received emails today that USCIS received my response to RFE so I was wondering how long it typically takes them to process the case.

Yes I saw first LUD change on 02/23 when they receive my RFE and yesterday I saw LUD change on my case but no update in the status. HTH.

My employer filed I-140+I-485 2 weeks ago. Where is this LIN# supposed to be sent to ? My address or laywer's ?
