It is strange

It is very strange. All approval case seems from CA. How about Tx and other states???

GP111, my heartiest congratulations to you.
We know that you received the approval letter on Jun-30th but can you tell us when was the actual approaval done.
This will give some idea on how much delay is there between actual approval and mailing letter.

Finally my atty. called today and informed me of labor cert. approval for my case.

Pd: Sept. 26, 2002
Rd: Aug. 25, 2003
45 Days Received: Feb. 8, 2005
Responded : Feb. 25, 2005
Occ Code: 25-2022

Seems like the approval queue has almost moved to Oct'02(Sept26 being approved), analysis queue being Nov'02 (or Dec'02?) Not to mention Icarus has already mentioned that the queue is faster than the past. Hope this continues... My PD being Dec'02, Iam keeping my fingers crossed.

One more thing....... Please post your approval promptly before moving to 140 and 485 threads. This will help other people to keep up their hopes.

Just a quick question.

What if an EB3 LC with priority date < Dec 2001, gets approved from BPC. Can that person file for I140 and 485 concurrently?

What's the latest on EB3 / EB2 retrogression?

EB3 is unavailable worldwide. You can't file I-485 until Oct 1st 2005, no matter what PD you have. You can file I-140 though. The PD cutoff dates will be anounced for new fiscal year starting from OCT 1st 2005 in Sep 2005.

I see approvals only from California. No approvals from any other state. What does that mean?? :confused:

We are seeing more CA approvals because CA has more cases pending with PD of 2001 & 2002 then any other states.

All RIR Michigan cases with PD up to Dec 2002 were processed at the Chicago reg center. It's not a time for MI cases yet :rolleyes:
 
No offense, but I don't agree 100% to this point.
There should be cases from MI with priority dates between Nov'02 and Dec'02 that ended-up in BEC.

Examples include myself, kanjoos and many more.

So MI folks..., keep your fingers crossed. We might expect approvals in 2 months (or less).

CA DOL was the first who sent Regional cases to Dallas BEC.

I think not so many cases from Nevada and Hawaii were in the Regional ofiice. CA DOL served California, Nevada and Hawaii.

I think the next will be Texas with Oklahoma, New Mexico ....,

Chicago was the last
