I am seeking to find out if there is anybody else in a similar boat like me from Chicago. The following are my details and I have not received a 45 day letter yet.

OH SESA PD July 2003
CHICAGO RD June 2004

Please send reply or better yet send me PM.

I am sorry to post this message here, if it should not be here...please forgive...I know people are kind of upset on asking silly questions. I was not sure where to get this answer from.

Thanks for your consideration.

Emails for Screenshots

Remember there is an Event Log button (which is visible on the top left corner of the screenshot) through which they might be able to track all actions/events done on the case.....

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also they'll have to put up another field in their "all electronic" system that this particular case (who made a fake enquiry) needs to be somehow punished. I dont think they are going to make changes to their DB to add that another field......

It seems DBEC is getting flood of emails with these and they are doing inquiry with the lawyers reagrding these emails.
So think twice before sending these emails to DBEC, I don't know the consequence of it but I am sure they won't be good.
Just giving you the information which I got. Be carefull.
Don't mess with your cases.

Is it just my attorney or most of them are like this

I still haven't got 45-day letter yet, please see my signature for case information. I asked for information today, and got another typical reply from my attorney office saying: the agency is processing 350,000 pending cases....

Which state are you from?? If you are from CA or TX then you should have got it (my guess looking at all the ppl in this forum's)but if you are from some other state then you have to wait like many others.
There are some ppl with PD in 2001 who still havent got their 45 day letter. I would surely have to say that they are unlucky ones.

Hope this helps to calm you down. I can understand the response from the lawyers, actually they cant do anything better, coz they have no info or way to track.

So have to wait for our turns, hopefully its not long after the data entry is done. :)

Thank you for your nice reply, my case is RIR from Oklahoma. I saw people with late 03 PD are receiving 45-day letter, good for them, yet make me anxious to wait for my turn.

LC4ever,
I am from Oklahoma too. My case is almost identical (RIR/EB3; PD: 01/30/02) to yours. I got my approval on Monday. You need to follow up with your attorney constantly. Even though they say that "Patience is a great virtue", there is a limit to everything. We see most approvals from CA and TX on this thread because thats where most of the backlog is concentrated and you have lot of applications from these great states as compared to smaller states like ours.

Hope this helps.

did u receive your hard copy...

congrats JNPR.....

Hi LC4ever,

Recall my friend was in the same situation as you for a while, i.e. RIR from OK, PD 12/01, D04310-XXXXX, and didn't get the letter for a while. Then, finally convinced the lawyer to write them a letter, and he got the 45 day letter a couple of months later. I don't know if it had anything to do with the letter from the lawyer, and I guess we'll never know - but at least he got the letter on May 31st.

On another note - after responding to the letter (asking to proceed with the processing of the case) he got a letter confirming that the case was WITHDRAWN!!! Lawyer immediately responded again...

The point is - Things may seem bad - but for some people, like my friend, one step forward (getting the 45 day letter) is followed by two steps backwards...

So follow-up with your attorney to call, send a letter or do whatever possible.

Good Luck!

Thanks in advance.

Gurus,
I need your help deciphering the case information snapshot that I finally received from Philly BEC. I actually have been trying to get this for days from Dallas BEC and must have sent 5-6 emails over a period of last 3 months but wasnt successful. Yesterday I sent it to Philly and got a response.

Mine is August 2001 RIR case filed in Texas with TWC. It was sent from TWC to DOL-Dallas in March 2002 but was kicked back. Since then the only time I have heard from anyone is from Enterject (TWC's contractor) in December 2004 asking if company was interested in continuing the case to which company responded positively. OK so here are the details. If anyone can provide any insight I will appreciate it. Other information which I have not stated below like Name of Company, Title etc is true.

ETA Case number: D-05109-xxxxx
Processing Type: RIR
Case Received date: 4/19/2005
Case Status: Data Review
Priority date: 8/10/2001
Case Source: Region
Visa Type: H1 B
Processing Center: DBEC

I have not as yet received a 45 day letter. Does this mean my case is still RIR. I thought since my case was kicked back it may have become NON-RIR. When can I expect to receive 45 day letter ? What does case status: Data Review mean ? Also my salary listed in the screenshot is about 2K lower than Prevailing wage - is that by itself any cause for trouble ? Of course my salary now is $ 15 K higher than when the application was filed ( will be exact 4 yrs to the date tomorrow).
I would really appreciate any/all input or insight.
Thanks

Thanks, Raydhan. I kinda send email to my attorney's office every 2-3 month to check my case status, and everytime, I receive the same reply. I want to trust them, but they never send email to me without me asking them. I actually found out my new case number on my own, I don't even know if they have my new case number or not since they never mention it to me and I didn't volunteer it. Do you and other guys here suggest I should insist my attorney to write to BRC? Thanks.
