CSC I-485 Filing- May to Dec 2005 Tracking

Still stuck in FBI name check :-(

Maybe you need to have a common name ... both my and my wife's names are not so common and maybe that is throwing the FBI off? ;-)

Got a reply for my second email inquiry:

"Both applicants are still pending FBI name check clearance. Once the files have been cleared by FBI, the application will be adjudicated. The Service has NO control over how long it takes FBI to clear the case.

Atleast you are lucky to know your current status compared to mine.

HAHAHA, I can tell you that at least you have a hope that you are out of the FBI loop :)

We can only hope for the best. Meanwhile, a good friend of mine in DC got his 485 approval notice on Friday after getting a false 'case transferred' notice a month back. Strangeness continues.

485 approved

Thanks to Almighty GOD, I guess I am finally done.
I have received email notification of 485 approval for my wife and mine. It took exactly 6 months and 2 weeks for the whole process. TSC was awsome.

Applied in EB1-OR on 11/15/05, RD 11/17/05- for all.
Received EAD, AP- don't remember the dates.
Concurrent filling>yes.
CSC>TSC 3/22/06
140 AD-05/19/06
LUD on 140-05/19/06, 05/22/06, 05/23/06
LUD on 485- 5/22/06, 5/30/06, 5/31/06
485 AD-5/31/06.

Q1. I was wondering how many days it will take to received the cards?

Q2. My H1 visa will expire on July 14, 2006 (this is 5th year). Do I need to file for an extension if I don't receive the cards in hands by then?

Thanks to every one for all the support. I wish all of you will hear good news soon.

I'm not sure if it was because of TSC.
I myself filed EB-1 OR in May 2005 and supposedly
pending on a name check.

Anyway, it's good to hear about approvals on recent cases.

Absolutely... gives us hope!!

I however feel that TSC is moving cases much faster than CSC at this point though.

I hope your name check gets approved soon as the PD is current...
Good luck. :)

Congrats dude - welcome to the "4 year wait for GC" club

Hi

Today I received the EAD card of my spouse. But I haven't see any LUD on my EAD application.
Is this a normal process that spouses receives EAD cards first and sponsers will be delayed?
Do I need to make an inquiry call with USCIS?

Question, If I do not receive my EAD before my H1 get expires (9th year), would I be out of status?
In such scenerio, what options do I have other than renewing H1 for 10th year.

Any inputs would be highely appreciated.

Thanks

October 2005

Thanks.

So if we go by whose approvals are coming through, in general it is those folks whose FP was done in Oct/Nov of last year.

It seems PD/RD tracking does not work too well (provided PD is current).

how did you reach this logic of connecting FP to approval ?
