CSC I-485 Filing- May to Dec 2005 Tracking


Now that my name check and finger prints are cleared - there's nothing but availability of visa numbers that I am waiting for, I assume?

Also, has been answered multiple times but wife starting a company on EAD - is that an issue? Once she starts it, the EAD has to be in full force everytime or can she have the application pending for the renewal and still continue unabated

Quick question for GP - Dude, the date June 16 2005 mentioned as the date where the 485 processing is for CSC - what is that date ? - the 485 filing date?!?

did you get a response the first time you sent email to M. Bueno? and how long did it take?

I have sent an email 6 days ago and no response yet. Is it usuall? should I send another one?

You can Own A company while you are in any legal status (H1, L1, H4, AOS etc) But You can only work of that company if your have work authorization. Means if EAD expires you wife cannot work for the company & get paid, but can surely continue owning the company.

I sent the email on 2/22. Wait out a few more days and then resend is my suggestion

Good to see you all in here. Another long wait for greencard, but I am so happy that my I-140 approved today.

GP111, what is the most reasons that the CIS denies I-485 if I-140 got approved?

I am from non-retro country and my PD is current.
I have bio-metric done only. Do you know how long it would take to check your 10 finger prints from the day they take your FP? When they will send out another FP to me? or I have to ask them to do so?
Any susgestion??

Funny, today my and my wife's permanent resident cards arrived,
without any hint of I-140 approval. Hours later I received an e-mail
from USCIS saying that my I-140 had been approved. So, I got the
green card first, and while I was still having some faint doubts
(I know most of you had said don't worry, but I had some bad
taste in my mouth from past experience) about the case, since
my I-140 was still not approved, I received the e-mail from USCIS
my I-140 was also approved :)) For the record, I'll repeat all my dates,
so that while trying to interpret the LUDs, everybody have another
data point. Well, probably it all means that LUDs don't mean a thing:

7/27/2005 I-140/I-485 ND
7/28/2005 I-140/I-485 LUD (applications received)
11/10/2005 I-765(spouse only) ND
12/7/2005 FP for I-765
12/11/2005 I-765 LUD (actually many LUDs from 11/10 to 12/11)
1/13/2006 I-485s LUD (RFE requested)
1/25/2006 FP for I-485s
a few more LUDs on I-485s related to FP which I don't remember the dates
2/7/2006 I-485 LUD (RFE response received)
2/10/2006 Interim EAD card
2/14/2006 I-765 LUD (case approved, card ordered)
2/21/2006 Actual EAD received
2/21/2006 I-485 LUD (Case approved, card ordered ?? Notice that no I-140 LUD yet)
2/22/2006 I-140/I485 LUD (no message change)
2/24/2006 I-485 LUDs (Approval notice mailed)

Pardon the anxiety GP, but now that my FP and name check is clear, will it be fair to assume that the reasons you cited for rejection of 485 cannot surface in my case anymore?!

If they find any fraud / wrong doing any where (from you & your company) they can reject it.

guys,

My I-140 got approved yesterday (2/27/2006) with LUD and message.
However I saw another LUD on my I-140 today (2/28/20006) with the same approved message.

Is it normal? Is there anything wrong with my I-140??

this is probabely due to sending the actual approval by mail
 
I think it is normal. I got another LUD on my I-140 today
after getting the approval notice on 2/27. My I-485 was
first approved on 2/21 and I got maybe 5 LUDs since then.

My information is in my signature. Thanks, tantan for sending me the link to this thread.

I am one of those with no fingerprint, biometrics, etc. on the 140/485 receipt notice. Since my 485 position is not current, my lawyer told me I will not get the FP notice. Is that true?

Any idea if I should expect anything from now till whenever my case becomes current? Or just sit tight and wait?

7 months for the whole GC process is very quick these days
if that's what you're saying.

Can you tell me if an I-485 gets RFEs, what would they be? (in the case that I-140 approved)

NO Not true

Send email to CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov today & ask about FP. Most Likely your PD will be current in April Visa Bulletin.

Once your PD become current you will get approval if everything else is done by then.
 
Case Status without LIN#

GP111 (Gaurang)

I was reading your updates and posts in DBEC months ago.

My LC got approved in last week of Dec 05. Applied for I-140, Fedex tracking says the letter was delivered to Nebraska Service Center on Feb 13.

I am unable to get LIN# either through my employer or attorney.
Is there a way to find LIN# or periodic case status without LIN?

Appreciate your help
