I got back to my office from my usual Wednesday morning meeting to discover two email messages from the USCIS that said that my I485 had been approved. The web site has also been updated.

How can I thank you all for your support and empathy. You've all changed me, for the better, because you gave me the space and motivation to stop sitting and waiting and start fighting. To all of you who've not received your cards, and especially those who have WAC dates before my own, I commiserate, and wish the speediest of processing for you.

I'd like to take some time off... I'll give you an update when my stamping occurs which will likely be in San Francisco. Any advice on stamping there would be much appreciated. I have no idea how early to show up for example, and what to bring etc...

Hello All,

Got approval emails just few minutes back.
This case has been approved. On July 6, 2004, an approval notice was mailed....
I am so greatfull to god to whom the glory goes and am feeling very happy to share the news that our cases (my wife and me) are approved.

Thanks goes to this forum of which i was a silent visitor, and thank each one who are on the forum asking questions or answering questions as it helps eachone of us.
Thanks to Kashmir, I140_takes_4ever, and all the old moderators who are and were on this forum. I will be hanging in here for sure.
This site was visited by me everytime i got some time off work, atleast 20 times a day, this site is what kept my spirit and hope alive and kept me out of frustration. I am happy to contribute $100 and this is the only way i can thank all the people who are working for us to make immigration processes easier for us.

Funny enough: today was the "anniversary" of my first L1 visa (07/07/00). Because I had an early appointment, I did not go to the USCIS web-site to check our LUD, as I do almost every morning. But sitting in my inbox were six email notifications from USCIS (two for myself, wife, son) announcing that our I-485 had been approved.

I then rushed to check the web-site and called the 800 number to confirm that this was not a computer error, and got the confirmation. Saying that we are relieved is a gross understatement J. :) :p ;) :D

Facts about the case are enclosed in the signature below. Our LUD changes were 06/14/02, 05/27/04, 07/03/04, 07/07/04. USCIS never acknowledged the receipt of our 2nd FP. No RFE was generated.
I had not sent an inquiry about the I-485 yet, but a I-131 for my son was "stuck" since 01/11/04 and I made 3 inquiries on it. That might have led the IO to adjudicate the I-485 whilst he/she was at it (I actually believe that they might have lost the I-131).

Best of luck to you all, I sincerely hope your turn will come soon. Now onto the passport stamping "experience"...

Thanks evrybody for support in tough times. This morning i got 4 emails from USCIS saying that my case is approved on July 07,2004. I replied my rfe on 06/17/04....they updated there system on 06/29/04...they took almost 7-8 days to approve my case after recieving RFE.

I received 2 emails this morning from uscis stating that my case has been approved on July 7th 2004. Check the website and it says the same thing. I am EB3 case with I-485 receipt date in march 2003. I am AC-21 case plus recently file AR-11 to notify uscis about change of new address. I did not send any fax inquiry...

I am a regular silent visitor of this great forum for the past 1 year. Would like to thank all the moderators in this forum especially kashmir for their unselfish efforts....Good luck to all for those that are still waiting...will pray for all of you in getting your approval soon...

Hey Guys,

My case status online changed to approved. Not much excited, got approval after 28 months after my husbands approval.

The LUD changes were 05/26, 06/14, 06/23, 06/24 and suddenly today (July 8) morning I checked it was 07/07 and case was approved.

When I again checked at around 10:30 am the LUD changed to 07/08 and the case status was still of approved.

Called the NSC and made sure that the status is approved.

Now I am waiting for my approval notice.

No RFE or interview. 2nd FP done on 06/10 and had changed the address 2 months back to Texas address.

All the best to all you guys. Hope you all get approval soon.

Received an email from USCIS today about my approval. The case was approved yesterday(7/7). Dependent approved on the same date too. 2nd FP was done in the 2nd week of june'04. Changed address recently. Attorney called USCIS about address change. Last week, I called USCIS to confirm address change and the cust svc rep initiated an inquiry.

I got approval email today morning from USCIS. First I noticed only my approval at 7am followed by wife and daughter after two hours. My and wife's cases were touched on Jun 22/23/24 and Jul 2. Surprisingly there was no LUD activity for our kid. We also recently moved to a new place. Thanks to Rajeev, Kashmir, 140_takes_4ever, Sillyman, pcee and other senior members for making this wonderful forum very informational.
