CSC I-485 **Approvals** in JULY 2004.

#176 Approved

Friends,

Today I got emails from CIS stating my case has been approved, both for me and for my wife.

Its a surprise for me, may be my recent request for Address Change triggered it. Dont count on it though :).

Thanks to Rajiv and his team. Its a wonderful forum, where I made lot of friends. I guess his lawsuit, his support for backlogs petition and our petitions helped many of us to get Green Cards faster.

Many thanks to Kashmir, 140_takes_4ever, DM, Ruxrux and everybody else for being with me in this journey and supporting me. I learned a lot from you guys and Lets continue these efforts to achieve our next goals.

140_takes_4ever, I'm waiting to hear about your approval. Good luck to you. And good luck to you all.

Approved on July 29th got email today. No RFE for I-485, RFE for I-140. I didn't do any inquiries.

My wife was approved on July 29, 2004 today pursuant to the two e-mails. I was already approved on July 14, 2004.

WAC 02-214-XXXXX

I-485 Approved.

Hi Folks,

I have joined this forum very recently around 2 months back, also I am silent watcher.
Our I-485 has been approved, myself, wife and my son, got an email on july-30th that our case was approved on July-29th,

WAC-03-150-54xxx
Filing Date: Apr-16-2003
Finger printing :Mar-17-2004
Query : Mat-05-2004 (asking for latest 3 paystubs, past 3 years tax forms) for myself, for wife they asked the medical stuff since she didn't took MMR etc., since we were planning for a baby)

Now I got a good thing to share about a medical for spouse (wife).
If any of your wife didn't take the MMR injections since you guys are planning for preganancy, then after having the baby atleast for a year I believe you should not take (even if INS asks) since it is a live vaccine and will be very dangerous for the new born baby. So in such cirmcumstances take a letter from your baby's pediatrician and submitt it to INS along with the new born birth certificate and INS cannot and willnot object, since this is what happend with us.
Good Luck folks!!!. :)

#179 jkuo44: Genie out of the bottle ... 02-239 APPROVED !!!

This is my 100'th post here, to announce the approval of my GC; how fitting. A new digit, a new life.

I received approval emails today; online status also changed. Case details below:

EB2 RIR
LC: ND 4/01, AD 9/01
140: ND 9/01, AD 6/02
485: ND 7/24/02, AD 7/29/04 wac02-239-
1FP 9/02, 2FP schd 8/10/04, done 6/26/04, rcvd 7/9/04
LUD: 3/4/03 -> 7/9/04 -> 7/26 -> 7/30
No RFE

It's ironic that many of us are working on improving performance/efficiency/quality/technology to the highest standards, and yet hampered by such a low efficiency process. Like many of you, I had to work with below-market wages for years, and unable to advance my career. Every dollar I did not earn during the prime of my life, will result in 1 dollar less for my future kid's college fund, and he/she will have to flip a few more burgers at the McDonalds to pay for the textbooks. For that, I blame this beauracracy.

Now that I'm approved, the feeling is so bitter sweet. This reminds me of a story in 1001 Arabian Nights. A genie was imprisoned inside a bottle at the bottom of the ocean. After 500 years, he vowed to reward whoever releases him a huge pot of gold. Another 500 years past. The anxious genie now promised to make his rescuer the richest man in the world. No luck came for 500 more years. He was desperate and pledged to grant his savior an entire kingdom. But centuries after centuries he heard no voice. Out of anger and despair, he sweared to take the life of the one who frees him. Finally after 3000 years, an unlucky fisherman caught the bottle with his net... (any detail of the story I can't remember, I made it up. :) ).

I can understand how the genie must have felt. But this genie is not in a murderous mood. This genie just donated $50 to the org.

I sincerely thank Rijiv for his litigation efforts and providing this board. Many thanks to Kashmir, desi-bartender, and all other great members at this place. Wish you all speedy approvals. And herhaps, my 1000'th posts here will be to announce my citizenship..... :D

Help please! case tranfered back from CSC to Local office after PP stamping

WAC031205.......

Hi; Folks:

I applied GC through EB3. Both my wife and myself got interview at local office and we both got Green card stamps on our passports on 6/3/2004. On June 16th, my wife case file and my own case file have been transfered back to CSC for plastic green card making. My own case got approved on 7/2/04 and a welcome letter (I-181) was sent to me on 7/7/04. However, CSC transfered my wife file back to the local office on 7/6/04 for processing. My wife has not got the I-181 welcome letter and any reply from the local office yet.

The CSC transfer letter on 7/7/04 said following sentences on my wife case:

"Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On July 6, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in LOS ANGELES, CA for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times."

Is there anybody having same situation as my wife?
Why did CSC transfered my wife case back to the local office that already conducted interview on us and put GC stamps on our passport?

Is the local office going to conduct another interview on my wife?

Please help!

Thanks!
