Waiting for FP

Hi All,

I am waiting for FP...still no news People who filed in March they got it. My RD is 12th Feb. I am in Ohio right know. Why so much delay in my case. Is it because i am not in CA.
Any reply will be appreciated.

No AP yet. RD: 02/22/02, ND: 03/04/02

Has anybody with wac-02-124 gotten AP? No change on AVM. What should I do? Thanks!

Thanks for reply Arun. My area of residence is CA(fremont).
I got the AP today in mail. It was approved on 2nd of april. I got it after a month of approval. I don\'t know why it took so long.
 
I had RFE on AP for my spouse

The RFE is for marriage certificate. My lwayer told me, marriage certificate goes only with 485 form, not with AP, so for some people they asking this. I got my AP and mailed the marriage certificate for my spouse on 24th and AVM changed to "received response on 25th and process is resumed, and start singing same old song .......

Good Luck to you, be ready with another copy of marraige cetificate.

Any way it looks strange.... if they ask for another copy although they have the copy in their file. I don\'t know when would INS reduce this redundency....

Got AP

Just got AP approval from my lawyer, effective from 03/31, but AVM does not change. My RD is 02/22.

FP Done before schedule date ?

I am a bit confused when I read the dates for your FP. If your FP was scheduled for 6/8/02 at San Jose, then how can you have it completed on 5/3/02, over a month before it was scheduled ? Are you allowed to have FP done anytime, once you have scheduled date ?

Most of the times the local INS centres allow to take FP before your schedule date if they are not busy. you can request for the early FP at the local INS centre.

JLever..did u had to taken a appoinment to do ur FP before the schedule date?
is ur WAC in the 02-116 series?
I am in this series,and if u would like, please send me ur mail_id, we can track our case.
 
Received FP notification on May 2

Can anyone tell me if I can get the FP done before the actual appointment date? Will the INS accept it? My FP scheduled date is June 7th, San Jose center. Notice date is April. 29,2002.
Can I get it done next week and send the docs to the INS?
