CSC FEb 485 filers View new database

Got layoff today!

Hey all

I just got layoff today and I did my FP 2 weeks ago. Darn, I\'m so close!
Am I out of status right now since today is my termination date? Is my green card process pretty much down the drain now?
Please advise, I need it desperately.

Sorry to hear that. Is your employer canceling the base Labor and I-140 petition. If not, find a similiar job immediately and U should be OK. I\'ve seen many approvals in the similiar cases. If you dont get RFE, then you need not worry about anything.

Why does my employer need to cancel anything? I\'ve already got my I140 last year.
What\'s RFE? If I get a new employer, what do I need to tell them?

Ur I-485 is based on I-140 and I-140 is owned by your employer. As your employer is not giving you an offer after ur GC approval, your employer may send a letter to ins stating that u r not with the company any more and may ask them to cancel your i-140. If its more than 180 days after u filed ur i485, then ins will not respond to ur employers request. but if its

Anyone whose area of residence comes under Oakland & have not received their FP notice? My RD is 2/15 and no FP notice yet.

I Got the AP Approval notice today. But AVM is not updated singing the old song.
But My wife\'s avm is changed she got an RFE. My guess is Photos.

Looks like Dec filers are getting EADs now. We may get in next two months.
 
Just a Thought why we are not seeing many Approvals

Guys Look at this thread "Interesting about about INS delays"

the MSC had to stop processing applications in order to install the necessary equipment and train their personnel. The MSC processing of cases were interrupted for a 21-30 day period. As of APRIL 15, 2002, the MSC is back up and operating in a normal manner.

I did my finger Prints Done on 04/09/02
Usually they will be updated in AVM with in three days.Mine is not updated till now.And there are not many Approvals after Apr 10.
Based on these scenarios i think CSC is undergoing training on IBIS till the end of this month and Processing will be resumed early next month and we will see many approvals from begining of next month
 
Talk to IIO today to change my mailing address

and was told that my AP was approved 03/22/02. Told that it should be in the mail anytime.

Also, he told me since I\'ve done my FP on 03/30/02 and they have received it the next day. i should expect GC approval in the next month or so.
Who knows?
