Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I was a silent observer but felt that I should add something after getting my green card. I got the GC after 6-7 months.

EB2 Concurrent I-140/ I-485 filing : 09/14/2006
I-140 approved after PP on 11/02/2006

I-485:

RD: Sept 14, 2006
ND: Oct. 5, 2006
FP Bio Code 3 ( wife): 11/14/2006
FP Bio code 3 ( myself-primary): 12/19/2006 but went a few days earlier at ASC on Saturday.
No LUD's after FP for either myself or wife.
I ( primary applicant) had a sole LUD on 1/2/2007.
Biometric code 2's for 2 minor children ( age 3 and 4) : 2/23/2007
They had LUD's same day and on next business day on 2/26/2007

After the Bio code 2 for the kids over, things began to move.

Had simultaneous LUD for my wife and I on 2/27/2007
These were RFE's for both of us.

Responded to RFE on 03/28/2007
LUD ( both of us) : RFE received 3/29/2007
Saw simultaneous LUD for all 4 of us ( family) a few hours before approval.
AD: 04/12/2007 saying welcome notice ( all 4 family members)
LUD 04/13/2007:Card Production Ordered
LUD 04/17/2007: Approval Notice sent
Green Card Received : 04/19/2007 ( all 4 family members): End of Story
Still to receive Approval Notices as of today, probably tommorrow, but who cares now when, with the GC's already in hand.

BTW, was there a change in the "status message" after your FP.

I had my FP done, but there is no change in the message.. This is my second FP and I had a code 1 (code 2 was done about 5 months ago).

Did your message change after FP. I had a FP and the message did NOT change.. Just curious..BTW, I had one LUD on the day of the FP and one more on the 2nd businessday of the FP.

we did our finger print yesterday and I saw a LUD change for both our I485. However, no further LUD change today. somewhere I remember I read that there are 2 subsequent LUD change for finger print. can someone please clarify based on your experience?

There is no message change after FP. The only noticeable thing is LUD on the day of FP, and and LUD within a few days.

My wife and I went to FP (code 3) on 12/29/2006, but there's no LUD at all. BTW, my I-140 was approved a week ago.

Anyone else with similar experience? I start getting worried since others seem to have at least LUD.

Did you have LUD after second FP? I had first FP code 3 on 12/28/06 and there was an LUD same day. Then I had to go for second FP code 1 on 4/12/07, however no LUD at all after second FP. Did you have the same situation?

There is a theory that the LUD comes only when security check is done/cleared. It is true for my wife. My wife's FP was cleared as per FBI. However, there is NO FP. I got a LUD, while my wife did not get a LUD

Myself and my wife got FP done on 04-13-07. I got a LUD on 13th and 17th. However, my wife's did not have any change in LUD. Guess, it is normal.

By the way, are you aware of anyone who is before in the line. In other words had FP in Feb/Mar 07.

Does that website run a bot on uscis status check website? It's pretty neat.. I would say it's probably real if the data is mined out of the queries..

can you share how exactly you found out from the FBI your wife's FP was cleared? I'm aware of three checks. this FP check, it is not the name check, is it? thanks.

Dear friends,there is finally some progress in our case. Just received welcome notice for my husband and kids, although I am still stuck in namecheck.After close to five years this gc journey seems to be coming near end.Details of our case are

EB2/ RIR / India/PD Oct 22, 2002 approved march 2006
140/485/AP/EAD RD: 6/19/06
AP/EAD approval 7/06
140 approval 10/11/06 (premium)
485 last LUD on 11/30/06 on all applications
Approval (welcome notice email) of primary and 2 kids on 4/24/07 with LUD
no LUD on derivative (mine) case
Besides sending two service requests I had written to senators to help /investigate my case. On 4/18 /07 I had talked to NSC office about progress in background check and a very nice lady had informed that namecheck of primary (and myself )just got cleared and file is being assigned to officer and should hear within 60 days. Today called again just for myself and was told that my namcheck is still pending. Anyways we are celebrating the freedom of three members of family. Hope this information will be helpful.

I did FP (code 3) for me and my daughter on 4/21/07 and there were two LUD'S on both our I485 dated 4/23/07 and 4/24/07.
My I 140 was is already approved!
What do these 2 LUD's mean?
