Consolidated NSC I-485 Tracker

Congrats!!

From your and others' approvals lately I can see a trend of i-485 approval within 5 months if there are no many RFEs and, of course, if the the dreaded name check hurdle is passed.
This gives me hope that the end may be near for me too.

was ur case in NSC or TSC? ur i140 looks to have cleared quickly, so i would think ur case is TSC and not in NSC.

any idea when ur namecheck got cleared?

My 485 was fedexed on 8/30/06 (RD 8/31). I received notice in October (not remebering the exact date but it was around Oct 10 with notice date 09/26/06. So it was more then a month.
Those people at NSC are just very inneficient, lazy and the whole process is an excercise in humiliation. Welcome ;)

And you have to be in the 'Rest of the World' category. Say, I guess in case of Indians it takes very long time for the name check - longer than 5 months.
 
Congrats schmooze, did you have any LUDs on ur 485 case prior to your approval?

Congratulations on your EAD approval. I think NSC shows around Sept 14th for EAD processing. Your case is 2-3 weeks after that time. So probably they are approving EAD cases filed in October. Anybody else around that time, pls share your approvals. There is almost 1 month delay between your I-765 RD and notice date. Do they process by RD or ND?

Congrats! Its good to see a 485 approval in this forum once in a while. I hope this trend continues in the new year.

Actually from USCIS website, NSC has been processing (I-765) EAD around Sept 28 posted by Dec. 18. It is not surprising they are processing Oct. cases.

Mine - given date of 12/29

Next, the not-so-favorable :(
Spouse and I both recvd RFE email alerts on both our first-time EAD and AP apps
EAD RFE alert rcvd - 12/12
AP RFE alert rcvd - 12/13

No more info about the evidence requested yet. We had all our records in place, so i wonder what it may be?

Update on RFEs: Our lwayer got the RFE mails this week, USCIS wants colored and enlarged copies of our passport and licenses. They will go out in the mail next week, but just wanted to advise anyone that's filing their apps to send in color copies with the original petitions.

Also, FP & biometrics for the 485 got done in Baltimore on 12/27 and we saw an LUD the same day.

New2new4, did you ever got RFE, cause your case wow took a little while to get approved the I-140. I am crossing my fingers too to see if they get me approved someday this week. wish you the best
 
From your signature, your 140 was approved in November 2006. Did you mean you are waiting for 485 to approve this week?
