Concurrent Filing - Using Cross Chargeability

Absolutely. Your CC application will be forwarded to the Texas Service Center and you should see receipts in the next week or so. After that the FP notice should be forthcoming. No need to worry just yet

No offence but, why do you think that my application will be forwarded to Texas Service Center?

At which center did you initially submit your application? Was it forwarded to Texas Service Center?

Is there anyone whose application is/was forwarded to TSC from NSC?

Please do reply.

Thanks,
VS

Hi Dedo,

Saw this question from you a couple of days ago and finally am in a position to answer it. I received EAD approval e-mail from CRIS on 5/10. I received the physical cards by mail today 5/17. So for me, it took exactly one week.

Thanks Prezcalvin. I actually saw a 3rd LUD yesterday that says my approval notice has been mailed out. I assume that this means the cards have been mailed out too. Lets see how long it takes for me to receive them

I may be wrong but i thought all CC cases were forwarded to TSC. Can anyone verify this?

No, all CC cases aren't forwarded to TSC (although I wish they were, since TSC processes things faster than NSC!). I am an example, and I believe so are Wellwisher and Vik, of people who filed using CC and whose cases are being processed at NSC.

Dedo,
That's not quite so. All pending AOS cases, regardless of CC or not, were transferred from the CSC to the NSC & from the VSC to the TSC are part of the USCIS bi-specialization program (phase 2). Very few pending 485s were retained at the VSC and at the CSC, I'm not quite sure what the reason was, but mostly all pending cases, regardless of whether pending for FBI Security Checks, or for visa numbers were transferred between the centers.

VS, if you're in California, your case would go most likely to the NSC. You can ask your attorneys where they sent the applications. If you go to NSC, your case number would start with a "LIN" and if you end up in Texas, it would start with an "SRC". After the bispecialization program transfers, I am not sure which center holds jurisdiction over California right now.

Nope, thats not true.. My case is in Nebraska, the reason that I know that it is in Nebraska is because my case receipt # starts with LIN

Vsaxena, why do you say that you will not be able to file a CC case post 1st June?

Thanks!

Well, I am from India and as of June 1st My PD will be current based on my country of birth and it was my understanding that you can request the CC only if your PD is not current though your home country.

I could be worn but that was my understanding.

My Lawyer did send the application to NSC.

But if I am not wrong then Dedo's application was in fact transferred to TSC. right??

May be randomly they are sending some applications to TSC.

Thanks,
VS

I am here in Los Angeles/CA.

My Lawyer did send my application to NSC. Moreover one of my co-workers recently got his receipts from NSC (not a CC case).

Luckily I got my receipts on very first try of CC. I really appreciate all the help and support I got from you guys.

Please find the detail in signature.

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND GUYS!

Tracker Update

Hi All,

Please find attached the updated tracker.

As stated a couple of days ago the sheet contains a column stating CC or REG(Regular).

Have added 2 of our regular-filing brothers.

Alex_2007,dbins01,nidhin_n please post ur FP(Finger Printing) date.
F16 please post ur 485 filing center.
fox44 please post ur ND/RD (Notice Date/Receipt Date), FP(Finger Printing) date & PD(Priority Date). Without ND/RD the spreadsheet calculations become invalid. If u haven't received ur Receipt notices then post when it comes.

My 2 cents on the PD movement -> Welcome aboard to our regular-filing brothers, my(read our) heart goes out to all of u. Though our apps might take longer as some our regular-filers had filed 485 but got stuck after dates moved back, but I would still like to welcome them. I have seen at least 1 friend of mine in this situation. 1 coworker is still stuck in labour from mid 2003 and a friend stuck in labour from 2002.

Thanks for the hard work Still! Much appreciated.

WellWisher, congratulations on the EADs. I figured thats what the LUDs would be. Prez, congrats on the APs.

Huizet, I've pretty much exhausted my options at this point; congressional intervention with the TSC, senatorial letter to the FBI (waiting for response), letter to the First Lady (got me a letter from the FBI indicating that the name check was 'in process'). My next recourse would be to await response from the senator's office and have the congressperson's aide call TSC back in a month like she said she would. I'm also planning to write to the CIS Ombudsman, although I know that it won't really amount to anything. Other than that, its either wait or WoM....and I guess I'd just wait.

Oh my gosh. That sucks. You have waited a long time. maybe you should write to CIS Ombudsman. Attach the letters and any information from the Senator folks to strengthen your case. I recall that your spouses name has cleared name check. Since yours is still 'in process', will your spouse get their GC or do both of you have to wait?
Vsaxena: Welcome to the CC club. Glad to hear that folks at the processing centers are paying attention to CC.

Thanks huizet. I'm planning to do that this week. Unfortunately, I am pretty certain that writing to the Ombudsman would only yield a letter telling me what I already know. The Ombudsman apparently gets tons of mail regarding this and its on his to-do list to congress as far as 2007 recommendations go. Regardless, I'll act on it.
Yes, my wife's name check was cleared in less than a month I am told. So once I am in the clear, they would adjudicate both, and since she's the derivative, she would get the adjudication at the same time as me.

I-512?

I just got an e-mail from my lawyer that they received the 512 documents for me and my wife. Their words seem to indicate that this is the AP. Is it called 512? Why do we refer to it as 131 here then?

TIA!

Ayuh. 512 is probably attorney for the actual travel documents, while 131 is the form to apply for it. Kind of like the notice of action forms are I-797.
