Labor cleared

Hi Guys,

My labor got cleared yesterday. Thanks for all the information posted on this thread.

My particulars were

Sent to SESA on Dec 12, 2002
Received at DOL on Feb 03, 2002
Certified on April 17,2003 (Checked thru AVM)

Please answer my 3 small questions.

1, I have been sending emails to lcstatus05@doleta.gov, I have not received any reply in this week? Any thing wrong with this automated system?

2, My papers were sent to the state on 02/14. Still I have not heard any thing on my papers. Does any of your's sent to federal close to this date and got approved from state?

3, I asked my attorney to give some filing number of my labour, and he is saying that the labour dept is not going to send any doc for atleast 3 months(the time to get clear from the state). Is it true?

AP DOL Dt 3/17/2003.
SENT TO LAWYER 3/17/2003
LAWYER SENT TO EMPLOYER 3/24/2003
EMPLOYER SENT TO ME 4/18/2003<After I emailed him>

Today morning i saw his email and he faxed me the copies.

Urgent Please Birth cerificate

For some reason I didn't get my Birth Certificate from India and it will take 30 days to get it to me but I have to appy for the I.140 my next week..

I came to know that we can apply Affidavit in place of Birth Certificate....Please send that document to me if you have .

Hi,

I applied my State labor in 10/2001 (EB3). Sent to Phily DOL on 1/2003. DOL back to SESA regarding the Requirement of new advertising for the job in 3/2003.

Now Sesa says they notified my laywer for the new job advertisement clipping.

My Quesion:

1. Once they receive the new advertisement response from my lawyer, what is the usual process take place?

2. In this scenario, do I have to start the process from the beginning or they SESA will verify the lawyer's response and forward it to DOL?

3. Once Phily DOL Receive the response, how do they process? Do I have to wait again in the queue or they will give some preference?

I am desperatly looking for answer for my above queries. Thanks in advance for you guys taking some time to respond.

NOF question.

Any one who got NOF and got approved please tell me what kind of NOF it may be and how it works. what are the chances for getting approved. I came to know that A NOF was issued couple of days back on my case. Which may be probably because my company had lay off in January 2003.

Any comment on this please.

sometime email system doesn't work, or if it doesn't find number it doesn't reply mail, it's only reply if number or format is correct

Yes, IT takes long time to get receipt or number, but you can try AVM system using your company number and find out if it reached to DOL or not

Non-RIR recent cases

Anybody got approval for a non-RIR case from Chicago recently? I am wondering about processing times for non-RIR. DOLETA web site shows that they are processing July 2002. It's been stuck on that date since October 02...

I used to get the email until 04/10/2003, after that I have sent the email atleast 5 times, not received any reply.

Coming to AVM, is this updates immediately? or it also take some 2 to 6 weeks to update?

I have been trying to find status for last one week thru email.
I don't even got any reply at all. I have been trying with employer phone number. I am not sure how long the system being down.


Does any one got reply recently???

Concurrent filing or not?

Dear All,
I am sorry for responding late. We are not doing concurrent filling because my husband’s company’s lawyer said they feel it wastes time because INS has not mastered an efficient way to process concurrently. Secondly they said from experience it is better to file separately. The company has no problem filling concurrently but the immigration specialist advised my spouse to follow the lawyers advise and he did. We will do AOS. Good luck to all waiting.
