Hi All

Please clarify my doubts.

1. Do we get any receipt no from SESA?
2. Same thing from federal, if case is moved to federal.
3. Do we really get Case # and DOT Code from reginal office

My lawyer always says he did'nt get anything from labor office.

I have seen the tracker, people applied after me, got approved.

Please give me some details.

I don't know from what state you are applying from but ...

1) My lawyer got a receipt letter from IL SESA with its case number.

2) I did not receive a letter from my lawyer about regional DOL's receipt. I don't know if He received one or not.

3) I e-mailed the automated reply system and got its case number and DOT code.

Mine is at chicago labor. how do u match ur case wirh automated reply.

I guess, matching your salary and title of ur job. am i correct?

Hi All, My Labour filed in Nov26 2002,and i got letter from state dept in jan 2003 stating that

This is acknowledge receipt of the application for foreign labor certification the priority of the application is 12/2/2002

your application will be assigned to specillist for processing in the order in which it was received in our office,you will be advised at each step of the action required of you


Did any cases applied at Illinois (SESA)after Nov 26 2002 moved to Federal ?

Just now i called to this no 312-793-6831, i got this # no from forum,they told me on 01/21/03 they sent to DOL. from here i need to find out.

i neither get any reply for the DOL email or automated telephone system for past few days.

neone with similar experience?

also nobody is posting ne approvals. did the chicago dol get stuck in november?

Looks like both the phone and the email systems are not working.I have been trying to check my case status since friday.I did not get any reply yet....

Automated Phone System

I was able to access the automated phone system and my case status today.

Just Checked using the number 312.353.1059 for the DOL, working just fine/shud use option one and enter employer phone id...works pretty good

i know cases of feb 20 in the automated system. but i think they have not put in many cases after jan 21.

also they r processing dec 5 cases rite now.

Dec 5th? You mean cases received by the regional office on dec 5th or the ones with PD 12/05/2002.

which state does not matter as long as Chicago DOL received it on or before dec 5.


cases received by Chicago DOL on Dec 5th not the ones with PD of Dec 5. ur PD will matter only when u want to file for I485.
