remanded To Employer

Hi all
My Case got "Remand to employer" with a 3 option letter. Opted for Retesting the market option. Also per Carlson's memo guidlines, changed the required Experience of BS+1 yr to BS+3 yrs . Spoke to my Lawyer who confirmed that changing of experience would be favourable 'only' for getting fewer responses to Ad. Otherwise the case would be dealt with same scrutiny.
My hope is that per prevailing circumstances if my case goes back to SESA , it might show up at DOL with guidelines of approval for BS+3 yrs directive.

Current Processing Date

Hi folks,
Anybody have any idea about the current processing date of Chicago Regional DOL?

Any Recent Approval from Chicago DOL

It looks like Chicago DOL has stopped processing cases since last three weeks. Is there any one who has recently got any communication from Chicago DOL, pls provide updates.
 
Case Number !!

I called 312-596-5400 to get my case number as my lawyer did not give me any.

The lady who picked up asked me to call 312-353-1059 and that's the number of the AVM.

?????? Any idea whether the operator (lady) is nutz or this is the case ??

She is one on alternate days. Try tommorow and politely.

Why don't you try use your employer's phone number on AVM?

I did try calling the AVM and giving my employer phone number.
It gives me the status of cases received from 2000 through September 03 and then it reverts back to 2000.

My case was fwded to the regional office on 11/21.

Wait 2-3 days - you will hear it. Sometimes AVM doesn't functions properly.

Ray S. i just want some clarification from you. i saw in this forum that YOU only wrote to Ill DOL and SESA that some people are filing LC from this state and getting labor very fast and some malpractices from consulting companies.

why you did like this,so many people will lost hope and everything.
see here in NY area, we are staying legal and our companies did file for labor in 2001 and still we didnt get any labor cleared from july 2001.still waiting becoz of 245(i) .illegal to legal
why dont you fight for this cause instead of causing problems for H1 holders who wants to file and get GC ASAP

we are paying taxes and social security also.
here also it started in Phily and boston regional areas.
they are checking all companes eventhough some companies are real.they are also getting so many queries.

please think twice before you do anything.
