Is Dr. VijayaLakshmi no more on the Panel?

I checked immihelp.com and it lists only 3 doctors for Chennai :
Dr. Sripathi Rao/Dr. Motilal ( Surima Medical Center )
Dr. Rajkumar
Dr. Usha Sriram

Have the panel doctors changed or am I looking at a wrong/old page?

Neither VijayaLakshmi nor Mathai Thomas is there.

Anybody aware of this ?

Arrange all documents in folders as follows:
First folder
------------
First set for self: (in the following order, held together using large
paper clip)
1) OF-171: Appt letter from Consulate (original letter)
2) OF230 part I & II Visa application (part-II UNSIGNED)
3) Marriage Cert. orig + copy
4) 3 Wedding photos (in a clear plastic envelope)
5) Birth Cert. orig + copy
6) Employment letter (orig- notorised)
7) 4 latest pay-stubs
8) Bank letter + 3 months bank statements + latest brokerage statements
9) last 3 years tax returns (1998, 1999, 2000)
10) 3 Immigration photos (1.5in by 1.5 in. Sign on two copies at
the bottom front. Do not sign on the 3rd copy)
11) Medical reports (4 sheets total, no X-rays)
12) IRS 9003 form
13) Passport
A 2nd set for spouse: (in the following order, held together using large
paper clip)
1) OF230 part I & II Visa application (part-II UNSIGNED)
2) Marriage cert copy
3) 3 wedding photos (in a clear plastic envelope)
4) Birth Cert. copy orig + copy
5) Affid of support for spouse I-134 (org-notorised)
6) Copy of primaries employment letter
7) copy of bank letter etc.
8) 3 Immigration photos (1.5in by 1.5 in. Sign on two copies at
the bottom front. Do not sign on the 3rd copy)
9) Medical reports (4 sheets total, no X-rays)
10) IRS 9003 form
11) Passport

1) Latest H-1 approval notice (my visa in passport had expired)
2) originals + supporting docs of all H1, F1, I-20\'s, H4\'s etc.
3) copies of Labor cert (AEC), I-140 application, I-140 approval etc.
4) originals + copies of work experience certs
5) Degree certs, transcripts, marklists + copies from India and US
Third folder
------------
1) all correspondance with lawyers
2) Home ownership/mortgage papers
3) My wife\'s H-1 papers, job ofer letter, pay stubs (not really needed)
4) extra visa photos, passport photos, any other document depending on
how paranoid you want to be ;-)
In my shirt-pocket
------------------
1) copy of visa appointment letter
2) felt-tipped pen
3) 4 visa photos
 
Superman,gabbar007 - Where are you planning to take DD\'s

Guys which Bank are you planning to go for DD\'s and are you guys going to carry cash in $$ or travellers cheque. Does banks accept travellers cheque and provide DD\'s.
 
Bank Drafts - Can be from any nationalized bank - must be payable at Chennai

From what I understand, the bank drafts for the CP interview (Chennai)can be taken from any nationalized bank in any city (even other than Chennai) as long as they are "payable at Chennai".

Please correct me if I am wrong.
 
Drafts

I have an a/c with Global Trust Bank in Hyd, I plan to take my drafts from there , payable in Chennai. This should work, right?
 
Passport amendment to reflect marriage

Hi,
  The P3 supplement, for Chennai specifies that the passports of both husband and wife should be amended to relect marriage. Is this mandatory, even if the wife\'s name has not been changed? Do we know of anyone who has successfully completed CP without having the passports amended?
   If this is a must, then, can the passports be amended in the Indian Embassy at SFO?

HyD cp\'ers - Air tickets

Isn\'t the better way to purchase tickets from US to HYD with stopover at chennai ?? How are you guys proceeding !!
 
I agree with AIM. That is what I heard from past CP\'ers.

I don\'t think it\'s necessary as long as you have an evidence to prove that your marraige and wife\'s name. My wife has my last name in PP. I got it done just because she got her PP after we got married.
 
Dandelion, It does not change the price.

If we purchase tickets from US to HYD with stopover at chennai or buy separately from chennai to Hyd. Cost will not change. Because Cost of air tickets in India does not change with time/distance/demand, etc. Availability may be a problem if you do not buy now. But we don\'t know the dates. If the PP has a mistake, we may have to stay couple days more in Chennai. We may not afford to come back to Chennai to get it corrected. So, Once we receive the PP with no corrections in Chennai address, we can but the air tickets on the same day. Or worst case get a ticket in Hyd-Chennai express. That\'s my opinion.
 
Indian Bank Opp. to Consulate for DDs.

They normally open very early. You just tell them what kind of visa. They know exact ammount. Like gabbar said you can take in any bank payable @ Chennai. I am planning to get DDs on the day I get Labs from Indian Bank. I can exchange the Travellors cheques at the same time. Remember that Travellor cheques give you more money than personal cheques. You can exchange TCs very easily in chennai. You need to pay Lister and Doctors in Rs.

I know there was a yahoo group created for Dec CP Chennai interview by Jay. Please update if you guys know of any such group created for Jan CP Chennai interview.
