Chennai Jan interviews

Chennai recd my P3 on 11/16
Just to keep all informed,
Chennai entered my P3 on 11/16. I faxed it to them on 11/2. The lady said my interview will mostly be in Jan and asked me to check on Dec 15th. Well like all of you, i also hope for a Jan interview. What are my chances at this point?
Are there anycases where people who applied before mid Oct didn\'t make it in Dec?

The lady got my case number and read my name Last name First name from the computer (I think she read my name from the computer). Looks like my P3 has finally made it to their system.
I will keep my fingers crossed for a Jan interview.

Not to antagonize you, I think the lady can read ur name from the computer as soon as the consulate receives ur case from NVC. I would suggest u to check explicitly (if u already haven\'t) if they received ur faxed P3. I am certain they have it in their system but just to make sure.....

I called Chennai last night and they have entered my P3 in the system. Also I got an email saying, "P3 rec\'d. Interview likely to be in Jan. Check back on Dec 15". Hopefully I get Jan interview.

I sent in a mail to Chennai 2 weeks ago and they merely replied "Pkt3 recvd". Then I called them a week back and the lady there took just my case number and was able to get the case on her computer (She told me she is looking at the comp). Then she told me "It will take another 8 - 10 weeks for your interview." Does this mean that they have recevd my P3. I havent explicitly heard from them that they have my P3.
What do you guys think?

Lufthansa is booked upto 1/17 from Detroit-Chennai
Only airlines tickets are available from Det-Chennai before Jan. 2nd wk. is KLM. I talked to 4 travel agents so far. I was thinking that getting tickets after Dec. 25th is piece of Cake. It\'s not. We may to hurry up. And do something. They are quoting business class tickets now. Which are expensive. Please post info. on this boards about deals. Cheapest ticket available ticket in Jan. is $1480.

I have booked thru Krisbi Travels in MI on Northwest & Delta leaving Detroit on Dec 30 to Bombay and coming back Feb 3. The cost is $ 1145 & $ 1130. I also have booked business class tickets using my FF mileage leaving Dec 25 & returning Feb 2.

I talked to Krisbi Travels. They quoted me about $1,450 to chennai. You have to add Bombay to Hyd/Madras in 1,450 though. My problem is that I can not go for more than 3 wks.Tickets are better after Jan.15th. Now, I wish I get last wk. of Jan. although I requested first wk. of Jan. Interview.

Go Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi. She extended her hours to 6:00 p.m.
Only reason why some people are still going to Mathai Thomas is to save one day. Now, Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi extended her hours to 6:00 p.m. I have\'t heard any body not satisfied with her so far. She is very pleasant. 2/3 of people who went to Mathai complained. Lister and Vijaya Lakshmi both are woking on Satursdays too.
