Can u keep the Greencard if u don't want to live in U.S?

Hi everybody!
Here is the question: If u choose not to live in the U.S after getting the Green card and you enter every 6 months can u keep it ?
Its an employment based greencard and i already entered twice but everytime at the border they are asking me when do u wanna move ? where do u work? and why dont u move ? and they told me if i dont move next time i will lose my GC? How can u keep it without a problem?

A Green Card is for a Permanent Resident of the US.

You can keep the card for sure, you just loose the status.

Yeah, you'll loose your status. That is the old trick that a lot of people said and it doesn't work anymore. By the time you come back, the immigration officer at POE most likely will deny your entrance.
