Do you know when will SESA send priority date and case number to the attorney and the employer?

CA SESA Sends out receipt with CASE Ref # & Priority Date very soon after receiving the papers. Most of the people I know got their receipt ( Attorney gets it !) within the first month.

Hi gp111,
My case was recently forwarded to DOL, on January 28, 2003.
My DOT code, I believe is 201.362-010.
You said all the cases, except IT are going faster. I do you mean by fast (1 month, 2 months, ....)
I've been having a hard time with my sponsor. I'm getting really desperate.
Thank you for your help.

DOL Processing times seems to be very Random.. many IT cases are waiting from Dec 2001.. and some non IT cases are processed till Sept / Oct 2002. So its gonna depend on your catagory.. Hope for the best. You can say Non IT takes 20 days to 6 months.

Thank a lot for your reply!

My attorney insisted there was no receipt at this stage. I don't know if he meant that a receipt is sent out only when the case moves from EDD to DOL??? I am still bugging him to show me the mailing information as you mentioned.

Anybody else has had similar experience with CA EDD receipt? Please help me out...

For people whose cases have been transferred to DOL recently could you please share it with us? If SESA is only denying or sending out RFE's they can move as fast as they want. There used to be a list of cases with status but people stopped updating it long time ago. It would be nice to have it back though.

Just a suggestion...!!

Why don't you guys incorporate all this info into a spread sheet?. Its easy to insert a new entry and easy to access the thread. Its filling out the thread w/o any usefull info.

Just a suggestion !! we did it for Philly DOL and it works great.

Data in file is very old, so there are many names in the file which are already approved by DOL... Please update whatever you know.. For Example, I know abt Jitup.. He is already in I-140..

Guys,
Its nice implementation os spread sheet. You guys should use it to track SESA/SWA ONLY. Folks are not going to come back to this thread and update the SF DOL info. SF DOL has its own thread and they manage tracking spread sheet too. In my opinion, you should get rid of DOL columns from SESA tracker and use it for CA SESA/SWA tracking only. Up to you, the thread members, to make it more usable
