Where is the latest list of all applications

In old thread a guy posted text file having list of all application to SF DOL. He said he has script which calls DOL and generates that useful file.

Hello tech buddy, if you are still here then please post latest list.

Others, please look at attached file which shows result on date 02Apr03. This gives you idea on how DOL works on different codes.

There a few cases certified on April but most of the them got NOFs. DOL at SF seems not to actively updating the case status after April 3, 2003.

All of my Employer Cases are still in RECEIVED status

The following cases belongs to my employer. None of them are touched by the DOL. I don't know whether DOL is updating the database or not.

there are 5 to 6 cases(RD 01/11/2002) at DOL from my employer and there is no update from DOL.

my company opted non-rir option

I have seen this in one of my company's mailing list. I work for very big s/w company in bay area.
My case went to dol in july 2002 and I'm expecting a similar treatment to my case too.

"It is DOL's perception that there have been substantial layoffs in
the IT industry in the past six months and that the layoffs could be
evidence of the availability of qualified U.S. workers, which would
negate labor certification. As a result, the Department of Labor (DOL)
has requested that XXXX company update the recruitment on your labor
certification application. Your company has been offered the choice of
withdrawing your application or conducting additional recruitment,
either immediately or in the future.

Your company has decided that they will defer additional recruitment at this
time in order to avoid the risk that your application might be denied
due to current economic conditions. As a result, your application will
be sent back to the State Workforce Agency (SWA) for regular labor
certification recruitment and processing. Due to the substantial
backlog at the California SWA, it is possible that your application
could wait several years for processing."

Any hardware engineer still havent got approved yet?

My RD is Jul 2002 and according to the list I should have gotten approval way back
 
CA Regional DOL Web site

The automated message at (415) 975-4601 says they are now processing CA RIR received about May 2002. Updated Monday Apr 21

The Regional DOL web site at http://www.ows.doleta.gov/foreign/times.asp? says that they are processing CA RIR received about January 2002. Updated today.

Anyone got any clue as to why there is a FOUR MONTH difference?

What a complete load of crap.

I am a Hardware Engineer, My DOT code is
999.172-061 (Computer Hardware Engineer). Most
of my other friends with a similar job profile in another
company got classified in 999.172-072 (Electronics Engineers)
and they got approved in Sept. 2002.
I am still waiting to see what DOL has in mind for my app.
 
In response to the post by waiting forLC...

God this ticks me off! So WHAT if there has been layoffs in the last 6 months??? My application was receipted by the state in August 2001... nearly 20 months ago. THATS when they should be basing their deicision on... NOT now because they are so completely incompitent that it took them years to get to the application!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are several 999.172-072 cases filed from my company at the same time frame. Those cases are either a little bit ahead of mine, or several days behind mine. They all got approved last Sept./Oct. last year. I'm the only one left untouched. The lawyer has no clue...

I can understand your frustation. But, I guess we can not
do anything more than wait and watch the DOL

Difference in Processing date

Dol Web site updated today hey are still processing

RIR ---------- JAN 2002

NON RIR --- MAY 2002

Someone posted thet AVM says they are processing RIR for May 2002. Whats wrong with them, From last 3 months they are not updating times on Website

Any one got approved who has reciept date after Jan 2002

Looks like DOL is messed up with applications, After one half year of wait it looks scary

SFO DOL LC Status

Hi Forum:
My Company is based in SFO Bay Area but I work in work in Reston.
I do not know my RD from SESA my attorney / company Imm Cordinaor never told me, is there some way I can find that.
MY LC Filing Date is 01/29/2002
MY PD is 01/31/2002
And received these two messages from my Attorney so far
RIR:68. Received confirmation of receipt of RIR transmittal from DOL - 02/24/2003
RIR:30. Received Transmittal Notice of RIR to DOL - 01/03/2003
any insight on where I stand, I am pretty new to this never really cared, I thought the attorneys where there to take care of everything. My Final NIV (6 Year) Date is 03/06/2004. I'm a little concerned now.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What is your Job Profile / designation ? DOT Code ?

DOL seems to be processing cases on DOT code basis.. Many Non IT's are getting approved in 1 week to 8 weeks of time & IT people are waiting with RD of Feb 2002...

You can get your H1 extended beyond 6 years limit, Ask your attorney / company to file for extension before 6 months Expiration date, since you have applied for labor way before you are eligible for extension !

I really do not know what my job code is.
I work for the Professional Services in a S/w Product Company as a Consultant.
My company Attorneys have filed for the H1B EOS in Nov 2002 haven't heard anything on that front either found CA Serv Center is Processing cases with RD 10/11/2002 still.
But our company has been doing major lay-offs though not much in the North East but more in the West Coast, I'm still concerned.

Position: Software Engineer
Company: Big software company in Bay Area with minimal layoffs
RIR application filed with SESA : June 2001
RIR application transferred to DOL: Feb 2002
Today got the message from lawyer that my case has been remanded to state to be processed as regular non RIR.
Reason given from DOL is that there have been wide spread layoffs in IT industry in last six months.
So after waiting for two years, now I'm again standing at point zero, and have no clue about how long state will take to process and approve/disapprove my case.

You are not the only one, my company has been doing this for all our LC applications. One by one, the LC cases from my company are getting NOF, and the company is withdrawing the RIR and refile as non-RIR cases. With the current speed of LC processing, it might take up to 3 years to clear DOL as non-RIR...
