I beleive what my attorney has is also the receipt from SESA. Usually NH turns it around very fast. Hope they do it for us too.

Can anybody suggest a good lawyer in Boston area??

i spoke with a nice lady @ BOSTON DOL. They didn't receive my application from NH SESA yet.
 
Hi! My friend recommend me this forum and said maybe I can get some answers here.
My company is going to sponsor me to apply green card, but I have troubles finding lawyer for my case... My position is multimedia programmer(we design and create kiosks for museums) Although I do programming, but I more belong to multi-Media artist and animators category than these software engineer in high tech company. Can anyone direct me to any information so I can know the successful rates on LC for this occupation? Also, can anyone recommend any lawyer firms in MA or NY area which have broad experiences?? Thank you for any reply in advance!:confused:

I got a notification from NH SESA that my application has been forwarded to Boston DOL some time last week. So aks, yours should be moving soon.
 
Goku, I called my attorney today and found that they received a letter from NH SESA. My case also has been forwarded to Boston.
 
LC status check not working

Hello all:

I checked with my lawyer regarding Labor status check. She says that Boston DOL has stopped assigning case#s to Applications and the only way you can track your application is by the Filing date! My application was forwarded to Boston SESA (state agency) around end of Aug. I am wondering when it will be forwarded to Boston DOL and how long is it taking for an action from Boston DOL (hopefully an approval!). I have heard that some cases are approved more quickly than others. wonder why???

Can anyone shed any light to any of these issues?

Sanjay, MA SESA is processing Mar 03 RIR and sep 02 non-RIR cases. I guess it depends how fast they move forward on these dates.
 
aks, Thats kool. Did you get a case #? Is there anyway to find out whats going on with Boston DOL? The AVM and mail are down for few months now.
 
goku, Yes. you can find out the case # by calling @ 617 788-0152. Lady who takes calls @ this # is very nice. You just need to tell her your full name.
 
Thanks, I'll call up that number and see what they have for me :) . So I assume ur application is already in DOL system. Keep the updates coming....

i called her a week ago and it wasn't in. mine got cleared from NH last friday i.e. 26th sep. let me know what she got for you... hopefully mine would be same....
 
Status on Boston DOL

Hello all,

I just wanted to let you all know that I called the Boston DOL and talked with the 'nice lady'. DOL received my Labor App. from Boston SESA recently. It took four weeks for the app. to be sent from SESA to DOL. The lady also told me that the timings on the dept. of labor website are not updated and that they are currently processing July-end/beginning Aug '03 Non-RIR applications (receipt date at DOL) which is different than what the website reflects. Basically, this means that there is a 2 month backlog at DOL!

While the lady is nice, I have one request lets not abuse her time in anyway.. otherwise DOL might stop this also .. in light of the fact that the automated ph # is not working. just a thought...

please post any updates regarding Boston DOL .. so that we are all aware of whats going on in DOL in terms of processing times.

Approved!!!!

Hi All,

I am not sure when my app went to Boston DOL but got approved yesterday. My attorney called me and told me that. All I know was my app went to NH DOL on July 2nd and got approved around Sep 25th at NH SESA. And got federal approved a week after. Sounds like a miracle. Isn’t it.
