It doesn't say anything about the certified date. Screen shot has two fields like
Case Received Date: 02/28/2005
Date Submitted: 07/12/2005 (I guess it is certified Date).
 
any progress of NY state application

Hi Friends,
i check this thread everyday. I do nto see any progress about Ny applications. do they forget about Ny state or soemthign else ? looks like we have to wait for long. does anybody here feeling same pain as me ? Man this waiting time is so frustrating :((.

I just got my case number. (Still no 45 day letter yet)
T-05145-xxxxx. Can you please update this?

Also....I would like to know if these numbers mean anything. I think it can help determine when the case was entered etc....but I am not sure how. Also, is there a way to know from the case number..how long it will take approximately.. before they would touch my case.

HI I'M IN MY 5TH YEAR OF H1B NOW, BUT SINCE I DIDN'T GET THE 45 DAY LETTER YET AND AFRAID IT GOT LOST, I'M PLANNING TO SEND A REQUEST TO THEM PRETENDING I NEED THE 7TH YEAR EXTENSION, I KNOW IT'S CHEATING AND I'M NOT REALLY GOING TO DO THAT, BUT I BELIEVE EVERYBODY WITHOUT RECEIVING THE LETTER CAN SHARE MY PAINFUL FEELING, RIGHT

Your case was PARTIALLY data entered on May 25, 2005. Unfortunately, the number tells you nothing else.
 
Does 'Partially Data Entered' means I won't get 45 day letter till they fully enter it..or the fact that they sent the letter makes it partially entered till they go back and update it with the response? Thanks.

You will not get the 45-day letter until the case is completely entered.
 
NO 45 day letter

Guys,
Even I am waiting for the 45 day letter. But, some how my attorney got a screen shot showing the correct case details. Even though they entered/updated my case on 11/15/2004, we have not received 45 day letter. Also the CASE STATUS says "CLOSED" :mad: :mad: :mad:

But, others who applied with me from my company got approved :eek: :eek:

First, I would like to see how long does it take to be processed?
Second, what does Incomplete mean here?
Third, my Screen Shot has two separate portion as "Case Information" with the same Info. except ETA#!!!!! Which means the second portion has a ETA# with 20 more!!!! (the last 2 digits is 20 more than first ETA#), is that normal???????

By the way, what is the difference between Case Source of "State" and "Region"?

7th-Year Extension

I have been a silent spectator for some time now. I was reviewing the DOL site for 7th Year extension and was planing to send them a e-mail since my 6th year ends 11/17/05. I was looking for some input on:
a) If this was a good idea?
b) Is there any specific wording that needs to be included other than the company & Alien information?

Any and all advise is welcome.

I don't know exactly whether this is the acual received date or not? but one of the field in Screen Shot is called "Case Received Date" which i got it from there.
 
Screen Shot requirement

It won't hurt if you include "Date of filing", "Old Case Number" or ..., but it's not neccesary!
