How long does it take for the Labor to be approved ( Regional ) in DALLAS BEC after receiving the 45 day letter. IS there any uniformity on this.

Any info on this will be highly appreciated.

VJ

We have full info on just one approval - that of "bbli", which is part of the Excel tracker sheet.

So how can anybody except the officials at the BEC reply to your question ???

Anyway, bbli took 66 days, from the date of 45-day letter was received, to get the LC approval.

The other person has not given the date of his / her 45-day letter receipt.

There are people on the Excel sheet, who havent rceived the approval even 110 days after the receipt of the 45-day letter.

Pray tell us what your conclusions are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why Nothing From Massachusetts?

We now have over 250 cases who have received 45-day letters.

Why are there no entries for transfers Massachusetts SWA to Philly BEC? Is it a coincidence, or is MA not sending them to BEC?

I'm inquiring on behalf of a friend, whose situation is this:

MA SWA
EB3
Regular
PD - 23 May 2003
RD - unknown
Regional DOL - Boston
New BEC Case no. - N/A
45-day letter Date received - No

Thanks.

Yes, as far as I know Boston DOL (Regional) has not forwarded cases to BEC. They will remain open until the end of the year.

Massachussets SWA should be transferring cases to BEC. No Mass SWA cases in tracker is a coincidence.

Questions/Concerns: How can we make sure that the reply to the 45-day letter has been received by the BRC? What if the letter gets lost in the mail? Is the BRC going to send a letter after 45 days whether or not they have received the response?

Please advise.

Yeah - basically informing your lawyer and possibly employer that the case has been closed since they didn't receive a timely response to the 45-day letter....
I know... scary. But if the fault is not yours/your lawyers/your employers I understand an appeal can reinstate your case BUT it is upto the BRC / DOL to decide if it will... they are not responsible and required to.
