Thumbs up Screen Shot shows certified
We have started the 7th year extension process, I have convinced the lawyer to send for a screen shot, he had planned to send the 45 days notice letter as a proof for LC pending.

After two weeks today we received the screen shot, it shows the case status as certified, for the forum benifit I am including some of the case information
Priority Date (PD): 2/18/2003
Regional Date (RD): 8/12/2003
45 days letter date : 1/24/2004
Case Number: D-04293-xxxxx
Type: RIR/TX

It did not show the exact date of certification, the lawyer expect it was last week.

Can you tell me how long it take to get the screen shot, I have got 45 day letter, also planning to apply for 7th year extension, I will apprecate if you can give me the email format for requesting a screen shot, my lawyer keep telling me you don't need a screen shot, it is good to have two proof, but you know the lawyers! any way please reply.

My case was finally reopened on 8/17/05. It was closed on 4/14/05.

Deciphering the ETA Case Number on BRC Screenshot

I'm trying to understand how to interpret the ETA case number given in the screenshots given for use in H1-b 7th year extensions. I get some of it, but not all. Didn't see a FAQ. Can you help me?

The format is like this:

X-yyddd-nnmmm

where...

X is P, D or T. T means the case was partially entered and a 45-day letter has not been generated. What do P and D mean?

yy is the last two digits of the year (e.g, 05 means the year 2005).

ddd is the day of the year (e.g., 364 means December 30).

I'm not sure what "nn" and "mmm" stand for. Probably it's just one 5-digit number, one unique number assigned to each case received on that day of the year.

T - Temporary
P - Philadelphia BPC
D - Dallas BPC
yy - Year
ddd - day of the year

The next 5 digits is a sequential number shared by both BPCs.

still waiting

my friends who have an april 2002 priority dadte already received their LC and i have a May 2002 priority date. I should be next but who knows what order are they adjudicating cases.

Please update my profile. I left out my second cases when i first joined the forum.
 
Difference between priority date and case receive date

Hello,
I just got the screen shot which shows the case status as incomplete. It also has Priority Date: 02/28/2002 and Case Received Date: 03/18/2002 does anyone know the difference between these 2 dates?

My Temp case number is T-05129-9XXXX

I do think centralized view is better for us, so please do have Dallas and PBE together. We can keep contribute ideas for this spreadsheet, but please don't seperate it.
